Ok does anyone hve any info on gt4s in the us can we legally import an drive gt4s here. i need actual info money is not the issue here...
quick question about gt4 importing (us) - 6G Celicas Forums
Well, there's been a few examples pop up for sale that're supposedly titled. So it can be done. Officially the rule is that a car has to be 25 years old in order to be imported. The thing with the GT-Four is that it's a grey import though, as there was a USDM Celica of the same years. You might want to look into what postal workers have to do in order to get a car from Canada. I know for the longest time it wasn't uncommon for someone to just bring in a RHD Camry/Accord/Legacy wagon etc... to use for delivering mail versus having a LHD car converted.

I plan on buying one next year. I live in MN, rules aren't exactly strict. It'll only be driven once a week so just hope that the popo don't stop me

honestly search google with different key words and make sure it ends in 6gc. there is a thread someone created with like 10-15 paragraphs of raw info on import laws here to cali or in the US for that matter. if you really want you will obtain the info with our without our help.
