i went to my toyota dealer to buy a manual antenna to replace my dead power one- and he told me there are 2 styles- the old one that came from the factory on ST's, and a new design one what would cost about 16 bucks more... so who knows the difference? also, is it hard to install a new antenna (like timewise cause its cold as hell outside and i might wanna wait till spring)?

Well, I did the s2k antena mod. I like the way that it looks, plus it was only 30 from your local honda dealer. But its not that hard to get the antena off. you just have to remove a screw thats inside the hatch and then unscrew the mast from the car. The silver ring on the antena is what you have to unscrew to get it off of the car.
