eibach springs with kyb gr2's - 6G Celicas Forums
i have heard that feel of kybs are very similiar to stock. someone want to second that?
i am awesome
I have the kyb gr2 and eibach spring they a little better than oem
yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte
yes, the kyb shocks are the same as oem. the only reason they seem to improve the ride is because they are brand new.
So anyone try the KYB AGX's? I don't auto-x, so I won't use the adjustment, but I'd like to buy a better-than-OEM strut. Are they?
Anyone have any recommendations on where to get them? I'm looking at tirerack and coximport...
And finally, do they KYB struts come with the fitments? Or do I need to buy the fitments and inserts?

You are going to notice a large difference in handling with just the springs alone. I've got OEM like replacements in mine and I think it handles fine for everyday street driving.
But is normal street driving okay for me? I believe under my name it says "enthusiast." >

I'd like to go upscale until it starts not being worth the money.
Sure I drive my car every day, but rolling up to Buttonwillow or Laguna Seca isn't out the question.

I'm pretty sure that AGX shocks aren't available for our cars. You could go with Koni Yellow shocks if you'd like adjustability and a really stiff ride. Many members have those, and I've heard that they're excellent for handling, but the ride is much rougher because they're so much stiffer than OEM.
Also, they're pretty pricey, and installation of the rear shocks is much more difficult than installing rear KYB replacement struts.

New Toyota project coming soon...
Is there any middle ground between GR2s and Konis?
