What would I need for a fwd to an awd conversion
Money, and time. You'll need lots of both.

Edit: holy ****, and here i thought it was just a tranny, driveshaft, and differential job.

In most cases yes. you will have to use and alternative fuel tank. most cut into the spare tire area to fit a tank.
If you look completely through both builds as stated above you can gather a lot of info on how its done.
