Got this relay and I need to figure out which prong is 30,87,86, and 85. I have continuity at the top right prong to bottom left prong. And I also have continuity at top left with bottom left. Confused as to how I would wire up this relay.

Can you pop the black cover off?
there should be a diagram on the top.
what do you need to use the relay for? i have opened this relay before, and does not work like a regular relay. its backwards i thing. two legs are continues, and when you applyu 20 volts it disconnects. i really cant remember.
dont use it as a regular relay, it wont work

I want to use it as a main relay. That's a bummer. Hoping I could use it for that.

There's generally 2 kinds of relays, normally open (the contacts are not connected inside without power) and normally closed (the contacts are connected inside until you apply power). That sounds like a normally closed relay, you can see what pins are what if you have an ohm meter. The two contact legs of the relay should have low resistance (~.1 ohm) and the coil legs of the relay should have some more resistance but the value varies depending on the relay. Some relays have a diode on the coil side to prevent any inductive spikes from feeding back into the control circuit when the relay is applied or released. That will cause you to see an open circuit when checked one way and the correct resistance when checked the other way.

Okay since its a normally closed relay how would I wire it up for a main feed relay set-up?

Im going to take a wild guess, but you may need a normally open relay. In that case you cant use it. Been there. Do you have a diagram

This is actually not 6gc related, just figured I'd hit you guys up on here because I consider this forum my home. I'm using a corolla fuse box for my standalone ls1 harness for my 260z.
I ended up buying another Toyota main relay that had the same 4 prong setup for the fuse box. Tested it with my meter and a battery. I'm golden now. Thanks for your guys' help.

You did the same thing i did. Except i did not find another 4 prong relay. What was the part number? I may need it
