But I think you're confused, they don't feed commercial bees corn syrup and anti-biotic...in the US. There's 'Chinese honey' that's got all kinds of funky contamination such as heavy metals, animal anti biotics, fertilizers, etc. US honey producers just filter and pasteurize, it's the foreign sourced honey that can be of dubious quality and origin or not even honey at all.


My sweeteners of choice are maple syrup, coconut sugar, and honey...

Commercial honeybees in the US are fed a liquid mixture of sugar water with antibiotics. The collapse of bees is all caused by humans -- unfortunately. We need to be more conscious of them, they are the reason we eat. If you like documentaries, I HIGHLY recommend More Than Honey.

Edit: I'm not a Facebooker, but apparently there are some 7th gens in Chicago that might make it too. It would be nice, but you know how it goes when random people say they MIGHT make it (they never do). Haha!

I don't facebook and it seems like Newcelica is down at this moment.


I plan on making an oreo pie but I need to get a cooler to keep it cold and not drive like an asshole on the way there so the pie stays in the crust. It's good, but you know I have a warped sense of taste so maybe someone should bring some cookies too. I may or may not make guac and bring chips too, depends what peppers are in at the store.

Not officially, but for the most part, no one posts on there any more. It seems like it's been dead since 2012. There was a lot of traffic when I had my 7th gens, but now it's only newbies asking questions that were answered 10 years ago.

Lol i took the risk. The voltage regulator (chinese). Makes power oscillate from 11 to 14 in cycles. It feels weird!! Battery does not charge. Dont want to cause a fire
