Hey everyone, i went on the site today to look for an update on that 2jz engine swap that no one believed was possible...but now i cant find it! what happened?

I talked to him, and he seemed pretty convinced, however, he said he hadn't actually seen the engine bay

Why so much sensorship? Are you being monitored by a celica etiquette board? This was an extremely interesting topic and alot of people were interested and involved in it, even if they didn't post anything. It kinda seems rediculous that you took it off without a warning.

The topic was first edited by us to remove the majority of the disrespectful, mean posts that didn't follow the site rules. Tim then put up a warning about this on the thread, but it continued, so we removed the entire thread altogether. >

99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =)
we cleaned it out once, narrowed it down to just the good informative stuff, coomer wanted it closed, i left it open b/c it had good info and i figured it gave the guy a chance to prove he was right with pics and more info. but people keep doing the same ****, so it was deleted. he can post a new thread when he has more info

I think that there isn't as much hate on celica.net, due to the fact that they have a very liberal OT where they can let loose and flame, and nobody seems to be offended. I think we need some sort of uncensored OT, like celica.net.

Im the one who started the thread
I will be creating a new thread when I recieve all my information.
What I can tell you now:
The swap was successfull and the car did run (Durability, and handling I am unaware of)
I was promised pictures when the car returns from the shop (Went back in due to paint on the hood)
The swap was completed at Mario's shop in MD. If you are still a non-believer, I suggest you look them up and give them a phone call. (I know you want pics, but hows that for evidence)
I was promised pics as soon as the car returns (scheduled return this weekend, so hopefully mon or tues i will have the pics for you guys)
My own incite: I was looking at our engine bays, they dont seem quite as small as we think, my guess as to how he fit it was: removed AC condensor, remove radiator, replace with small sport radiator. Place battery in trunk
Keep in mind he has nos so he probably already has some rebuilt radiator or some kind of engine rebuilding already happening

Who ever swapped the 2JZ into a celica could have bought like 3 supras for that cost. If this swap turns out to be true, this persons stupidity is beyond the description of words.
