I am on the hunt for wheels, but I am having a hard time source the offset to clear the gt4 calipers. would anyone know what the best offset to clear the calipers is?

You have to find a wheel design with a flat spoke like the wheel that I have. Getting a offset closest to 45 will obviously be best for handling steering response.

It's quite hard to find some a local member searched for one that was durable n had a bit of show. But mainly go cause he tracks vehicle with super strut n GT4 brakes.

Best he could come up with without breaking bank was 17+8 with +36 offset

In most cases ET35 is your best bet.

The standard wheels had an offset of ET45 but the wheels were obviously designed for the car.....they have really thin spokes which clear the front callipers.........., aftermarket wheels with an offset of ET45 will not clear the front callipers. I have tried many wheels and even an offset of ET35 is very close to the calliper in some designs.

I used to run a set of Katana wheels for a couple of years. They're cheap wheels but I never had any trouble with them.

However I ditched them cause I felt my car deserved a little better quality, and I'd say your GT-4 definitely does.

They do look nice but i'd try to resist the temptation
Dang they be heavy!

Second that! Almost 10lb/corner on a set of RPF1s. They do look mighty nice, though. Like the Work Emotion XD9.

those are the wheels you are getting?
The casting on the rim says Rays Eng. Did they just use a picture of CE28 or do the wheels actually have the Rays Eng. Casting mark on it. Fakes are getting serious!!! lolol

Nahh. I dont think you were getting heat. I think everyone knows already that the celica community is cheap (not calling you cheap) so people who show up talking about i.e. xxrs wont get too much flack since half the community is running fake heavy wheels haha.

WHATD YOU GET
