Best choice would be buy an eBay obx muffler and weld it onto your exhaust.

And it went...So, the problem was the intermediate pipe. Ideally I'm looking for a low to no noise cylindered shaped muffler which is a direct fit where I can bolt right on to the exhaust pipe. If this doesn't exist, how do I go about finding an exhaust pipe and muffler which fits the car? I have a 95 2.2.
Look for a Walker 53172. Direct replacement and only costs about $60. As for the pipe, it looks like RockAuto has everything you'd need if you can't find something else locally.
