i got a stock ST automatic. i dont care about top speed really, mine so far is around 110 which is fine for me. but i wouldnt mind it taking off a little faster. i dont want to do a tranny swap, i like my auto, the amount i drive its alot easier. and i dont want to go crazy in price, but over the summer i dont mind dropping a couple hundred into it to make it accelerate faster. so just throw me some ideas that would help. thanks....

A good cat-back exhaust system would be a good start. There's the Greddy SP, if you can find it, or you can go custom. 2.25" mandrel bent piping with a free-flowing universal muffler should work well.
Also, custom making your own cold air intake is also a good start.
Let us know if you want some more ideas, but those are a couple of the best things to do first. You won't get a whole lot of added power, but you will get some gains, and your car will sound and look better. >

underdrive pully after the intake and exhaust. plugs and wires are always nice, plus, you can count it as maintenance.
also on the note of top end....that little ramair system weapon r makes for thier intake didn't do anything bottome end but i noticed that i acc. a little bit faster just noticable after about 95
sorry for the extra post but i forgot to add....it definatly not worth the $75 you shell out for it but yet just another upgrade i can say i have...a step closed to forced induction >

with the CIA on a GT, i know no one has it so far(at least i havn't seen it yet) but anyone got a good pic of a GT engine bay, i wanna give it a shot into fitting a CIA on in not abttery location switching...(i know i have a ST but i wanna give it a shot)
i have a cold air intake , i guess you could it that nothing fancy but it definetly gets the coldest air to the filter , theres a bad pic in my profile but you get the idea , i didnt have to movemy battery , i did have to make up a braacket to remount the crusie control acutator or what ever it is i moved it to where the stock air box was you can see it in the pic ,i still need new pip ned some chrome or i am gunna paint what i have
short ram intake with cold air ducted to it and a custom cold air box will give you better gains than any CAI (not CIA guys, they kill people for fun) due to the shorter piping not getting as hot as a CAI's piping, and you're still getting cold air. Not to mention, this short ram intake is very easy and cheap to construct.
