Ive been looking at the folding mirrors with the switch from the SS-III, but not sure if they would work in my st204. has anyone tried it and is it possible?

Yes. It will work. Mines been working on my ST204 for years with zero issues. However, before you wire it up. You'll have to change the shells from the JDM (ST202 or ST205 Mirrors) to your ST204 shell first. There are a few threads that already discussed this and its best to look them up.
