Topic #97016 5 posts Started by cellocinema
i'm restoring exterior now and need plastic molding around side glass. i may able to just paint it but want perfect paint job on the body. it could be destroyed during removal, so i think i need some extras just in case.
plz let me know if you have ones. i need both sides.

You'll probably be better off buying them new if you want near new condition. The molding around the small back window is one with the glass and cant be bought seperatly.

thanks for input. yes but it looks like roof drip side finish(above window) is discontinued. i contacted 2 local dealers and they said so. even dealer shop in japan told me the same thing. the rest 2 seem available though.

I replaced my door sill molding with new last year I think, brought brand new through Toyota, so I would have thought you can still buy them.

Just to clarify the top arrow is pointing to the door molding and not the rain guards?

it's pointing to the thing called 'roof drip side finish' which is hard plastic, not soft rubber w' strip.
