I know the american st(at200) and gt(st204) are essentially the same body but what about the other cars such as an st202 etc, pretty much what im asking is can you put the strut bar from an st 202 on a at200

All sixth gens are the same T200 chassis, putting on the ST202 and ST205 strut bars onto the AT200 and ST204 is a popular bolt on.

yup! straight bolt on.
only thing you'd have to be careful about is the st205 ones as they have a bigger hump due to the TMIC and hood.

Thanks i figured they would fit but didnt wanna buy one and it not fit then be stuck with it. Theres a nice beams one on ebay i wanna buy

i wouldn't overpay for a beams bar though. it's basically the same as a GT one, just painted red. If you got the time, I would just look for one at the junkyards. I got mine for $15 at the junkers.

thanks i actually picked one up from a guy closeby he had a bunch of parts he sold me as a package. my next question is do you guys leave them as is cause i feel like it be alot stiffer if i made a cross piece to make it like a triangle anyone here done that?

if you look at my pic up there closely you can see that I have it combo with an ebay bar I bought a long time ago. and I guess if you wanted you could just weld in a cross bar to it
