Back to the same car. Bought the 1996 vert. Starts great rides smooth... however under heavy acceleration, there is a whistling sound. It is loud too... Any suggestions on where to start?

Does it make the noise with the top up or down? Need some more detail.
Are there any other funny symptoms that go along with it? Like maybe the dash lights flicker at idle speed?
