Hey Mods and Admins, there's this group chat app that people can put on their phone called GroupMe that can be set to use only WiFi (for those that don't have unlimited data) but since the chat is always something that is difficult to work with online perhaps this app could be an option..
If the mods all jumped in on the app and created a chat (I believe it also has moderator options) then people could pm the Mods their number to be added? Just a thought...

Yes but an external chat can be used by anyone, and especially one with a phone app you get that convenience. Would be easy to setup a 6GC chat group for the forum and fb page.

^^^ This. We've seen several chats that we're off site and easily accessible. People still barely used them. Facebook has pretty well taken over 100% of the useless chitchat and banter. You are more than welcome to set up a chat room but don't expect more than 1-2 people at a time in it.
