can we bolt on a "bolt on" turbo kit for the 1.8L corolla, considering they share the same engine?!?
TURBO CRAZE - 6G Celicas Forums
The only thing I can think of that would be different assuming they have the same engine is the down pipe, and maybe fitment in the engine bay, if it where feasible I think it would already be common place.

they down pipe is different but not a bigg deal..
[TeamNJCT
so the downpipe is the only difference?
and possible a few of the lines and what-not, the big pieces (turbo, manifold, etc) should all work fine
so wut corolla would the bolt-on turbo kit fine in our st's?

Where can you find this "bolt-on" turbo and for how much?
Here's a few I just found on a google search
http://turbodiscounters.com/html/turbo-toyota.aspx

93-97 corolla 7afe.
and the reason it isn't common place is because its more cost effective to put together your own 'kit' instead of buying it off one of those sites. also, none of the kits include engine management so its still a pretty big risk for a daily driver.

So very little ppl realize the importance of a good EMS
