WTB: Few items - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #98714 13 posts Started by djgeo05
I am searching for a few small items and a couple big ones.
All will be going in a 99 toyota celica GT hatchback

small items are

plastic fender liner and plastic undertray

a pigtail plug for the driver side tailight

upgraded motor mounts ( I did some research and all I could find were the polyurethane inserts. Is that my only option?)

A/C compressor delete (I saw on a facebook group post that theres a kit for about 40$ but I cannot find that post anymore)

as for the bigger buys

Carbon fiber hatch ( I can't afford a new one for 800 dollars, I am willing to drive if its not too far or pay for shipping if the price is right. By the way I live in central Florida.)

I would also want to upgrade my rear swaybar but I am unsure if there are any new ones available to buy. Also did some research and I guess my options are technique or whiteline? not sure, any information would be helpful.

any other suspension upgrades will also be helpful, I already have a rear strut bar, coilovers, and an oem front strut bar.

As well as any upgraded brake kits.

I have no urgency for the bigger buys, but I do need the small things.

I'm not only looking for information. Some items are clear to the point on what I want.
Thanks,

I was looking for more than just pads, like braided hose lines and double piston calipers.

Just purchased front and rear, yellow, polyurethane motor mounts.

I'am still in immediate need for

the plastic liner that goes under the engine.

a pigtail plug for the driver side taillight

Bump* most important part right now is the undertray!! Can be plastic or aluminum. These Celicas never show up at the junkyard anymore. Someone help me out.
There are 3 splash shields - left, right, and front, with front one being the most difficult to find. Which do you need? Also, shipping would be a killer given the size of the parts. So if you want the OEM ones (which would actually fit and be at least twice as thick as the new overseas garbage), you'll need to find them locally or be willing to pay a hefty premium.

From the looks of it I need all 3. I would really prefer to get original Toyota ones from anyone parting out. If by any chance someone has an aluminum one laying around please contact me tongue.gif as I am trying to get the whole package (the three plastic ones + undertray) I have searched for it and got to this thread, http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...0&start=280 No they are not on ebay, https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&a...ay&_sacat=0 , and beatrush seams to make em for the 7th gen https://www.beatrushusa.com/category-s/185.htm.

I am going to get my AC compressor fixed before spring (I live in Florida kindasad.gif ) and being that I need the AC because Ill melt, and being that this is the sunshine state that rains everyday laugh.gif I want to keep my pullies clean from dirt and debris. I am currently building my car and only getting parts once a month. This is my next small but important purchase.

Sorry to be a pain but I dont have the courage to buy ebay liners and its been more than a year since I see a 6th gen at my local junkyard.
here I took some pictures.

you still don't know which brakes to upgrade too?
