Look at it this way. You know how great it is to have a radiator for your engine coolant? think about a radiator for the oil also.
so cool oil? does it really have htat much a purpose except to keep pil from over heating. I mean fo daily use
lets you go longer between oil changes

keeps things cooler

when things run cooler, you engine lasts longer

thanks for the post!!! after going turbo (as most of u know, or should know) i have pushed the stock 7a pretty far. i have given some members a little ride when i took it to the king of prussia meet (ie lagos and others..) after my MANY trial and errors i personally feel an oil cooler is a MUST for the 7a turbo setups. while i take apart my motor here i can smell the burnt oil, which probably was the cause to premature turbo and engine failure. i will be posting actively soon with pictures. in 2weeks i am putting a new stock 7afe, 233tq clutch, and i am downgrading to a straight T3 turbo. my blown motor (with under 6k original miles) is going to be built. i have source GZE pistions (with help from doggy for 100% fitment), and i have a known engine builder to do a full port& polish along with the build. i will also be parting out my spare parts and some major motor parts in anyone is intrested. my major remodling of the celica will not only be in the engine bay, i will have a full house of gauges and a wideband 02 senser to keep me in check.
