I wish I had a third person there to take video... watching the car come up over the engine set was such a satisfying thing to see.

Just don't remind her and hope she doesn't remember.

Is the engine really pulled if you don't have a photo of you standing in the engine bay?
He's gonna need a ladder to get that engine bay shot though.
can you snap a quick pic of how the power steering pump is mounted?
Alex: I will after work.
You guy got me thinking about pulling engines....

And now the engine pull from this thread.
Which remind's me, this car still needs a name.....

Hmmmm, you should hold a naming contest with the winner receiving a pack of Trident Layers.
"Not again" or "F***in Karen"

Then you can go, "STELLAAAAAAA!!!!!!" as you fall to your knees shaking your fists at the sky when anything goes wrong.

My vote is for either GT-whore or Stella

Oh wow, you got the engine out.
haha! I love it!
Such sass.
Chris is da man.
That's one sexy power steering pump...
Was granted some free time Saturday to dig into the issue.
Found a new use for the lift:

The box fought me a bit. I guess now we know why:

As I removed the pressure plate bolts, things started to fall out...

I'm glad it's not the box. Now I just need to order up parts to get it back together.

Awesome. Easy peasy!
Well there's your problem.
At least it was just the clutch.
Well that clutch hub jumped the **** out of there. Thankfully it didn't do any damage to the surroundings!

I am beyond amazed that everything stayed concentric after it sheared
Thatll stop a car from moving under its own power pretty quick...
No photos, but I did get the intercooler pump rebuilt last night.
It won't be making any more noise. We tested it with a power probe after reassembly and it still made a little noise, but you won't hear it when it's in the car.

Huzzah!
After it being apart for more than 6 weeks, I need to start celebrating even the little victories.

Even small steps forward is still progress.
They're worth it though, and no one can fault you for having priorities in order.
