Budget GT-4 Front Bumper Idea

So, I am struggling to find a good price on a GT4 front bumper. The 2 I found on ebay is going for no less than $1000, which is outside of my budget. Anyways, I bought a Duraflex C-One style bumper off ebay for ($322 shipped), and I plan on hacking it up to make it look similar to a GT-4 bumper. Here's the plan:

First, I would cut the horizontal bar on the top grill and add plastic mesh.

Second, I would cut the horizontal bars on the side grills just to make it not so busy with horizontal bars.

Third, I would flatten out the curve on the sides of the bumper so that it's smooth and doesn't stick out as much.

Fourth, I would remove the center vertical bar on the bottom grill part and add matching plastic mesh. I feel like that vertical bar is unnecessary.

Let me know your thoughts on this. I just ordered the bumper, but some additional thoughts would be helpful.

Neat idea. I don't know the slightest thing about cutting and molding bumpers so this'll be interesting.

I honestly wouldn't pay more than $300 for the st205 bumper. $1000 for a bumper that is damaged and needing respray is just outrageous, #### that. C-One or Varis would be my picks.

Yeah, the prices for this rare item now is just insane. I am trying to start up a group buy to get KBD bodykit to build a replica of the front bumper. Hopefully we can get it made.
