my gauge cluster isn't working no more. i took out my white face and now the pins wouldn't move? anyone know why? help fast! thanks

whats the bestest size tire for 17x7.5 rim size? im considering 215-50-17 or maybe 215-45-17. can i go larger than 215?i just want a good flow.
