i am changing my head gasget on mt 7afe and i cant remember where the hoses go that come off the thermostat housing. please help thanks. pics would be great

my 7a is boiling the water in the coolant resavoilr. i checked the thermostat. it is fine it opens in boiling water. what could be the problem. oh and the head gasket is brand new. the top radiator ...

i just rebuilt my 7a and now it is idling weird. it revs from 1500 to 2000 rpms back and forth. cant find a vaccum leak... any ideas?
