Well guys, yesterday was the day... My baby went tp the tuner. Its taken a year this week to get it as far as it is today. All custom work has been done (fingers crossed that is) so its just a few off the shelf parts now like MSD coil and leads and stuff like that... not alot........

lol couldnt u just have push started it???

damn if i had a 5sgte that wass with a dead starter and i wass desparate i would pushstart that thing myself lol!

hurry i wana see a video!

Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D
I would have loved to push start the car.....only thing is its a brand new engine and it to build up oil pressure.
Tonight it happened....... A new starter went in and it turned over fine without spark...
Oil pressure went to 75psi and a small leak appeared from behind the filter relocator... (stupid me forgot to put in the rubber O-ring.... derrr)

Tune in for tomorrows update.... laugh.gif

Yesterday was like being at the hospitle waiting for your first child to be born....
I must have walked 5 mile up and down the workshop floor... Checking for the vital signs, but nothing happened....... It seemed like it was a faulse alarm.....no spark...

A few hours later and some tracing of miles of wire, it seemed like it was really gonna happen, but again no spark... So a re-think started and the old 5sfe dizzy was taken apart... Problem found....It had been modified buy the guy who first installed the standalone. The trigger wires were changed from the old setup and corrected for the 3sgte dizzy......And at last a flickering light from the end of the sparkplug appeared...

This ment life was well on the way.......A few mins later and a beast was born.

A MONSTER 5SGTE....

312whp with more to come....
Awesome. I have been considering this as well. Love those hybrids. How much more power do you think your getting?
