my guy i norm go to stuck a broom stick up my exhaust lol.
hes like wtf no muffler core. wtf no cats!.
(the broom was almost all the way in lol) he was like w/e just give me my 30 bucks.
didnt check one thing just plugged it in an said yes to everything.
but im afraid now for the 3s cause its odb1 and they put it on the sniffer.

damn..you guys are lucky with emissions. the guy i usually go to wont pass you for sh**. one of my homies went to smog a 240 with sr20det and he offered to pay like 40 bucks to pass..and that old man was like..HELL NO!! YOUR CAR IS ILLEGAL. GET OUT OF MY SHOP!

my cousin was passed with an integra gsr motor in a 1993 hatch...and paid $250...the year after that he wouldn't do it because someone snitched on the owner of the shop (it was more like a sting operation)...
yeah. you cant be telling everyone of ur friends saying "hey go here hell pass you" then word gets out and people ruin it.

but lagos is modded ect. and a jdm 3sgte has no egr system.
so its possible to fail easier.

It's funny how it is the same for many countries. Here in Russia you need to pass technical inspection each year for it to be road legal. It's kinda hard doing that on a JDM with lights working differently and all the other little stuff.
But $100 plus the right person - and you get your sticker delivered to your door

No tests in my area. Some times it pays to live in the sticks.
JDM guy made me do it.
no emissions testing here... we just need to get our cars safetied... which includes checking if seat belts work, all lights/signals, tires, brakes, suspension, etc.... the simple stuff! oh and no body holes (rust) that one is pretty common out here because of all the sand/salt they use on the roads in winter.

yea i was wondering what everyone was talking abotu cause ive never had to do ne kind of inspections (not that im hiding ne thing) but still i felt left out lol but i didnt know some states did that and some didnt.
i feel bad for you guys in the States...thouse stickers r ugly..lol. Up here, all we get is a small sticker thats about 2inches wide n 1 inch tall that goes onto your rear licence plate.
Lagos -- i was reading on the first page and it sounded like without ur hook up you wouldnt have passeed emissions - is this correct? why is that!

I dont think they even did emissions when I took mine for inspection. Horn, lights, brakes, ..... bald tires, exhaust leaks, done.
Hes like, just go get the tires replaced, and heres your sticker.

I guess I am lucky here in New Mexico. We have no emissions tests, safety, etc. Good thing too, I am running open headers on my '87 celica. If they had something like that here, 3/4ths of the people would fail lol. Gratz Lagos, and keep on boosting
