You wish is was just as RC as mine. Get an new ECU, AFM, then maybe you can be like me.

Then show me that your engine is one of 5000. Then you can put an RC sticker on your car.

I'd love to come to meets, when my cars done. But I'm sure as hell not driving down to Tennfugginsee for people who just give me BS. I go to hang out with car enthusiasts who actually show respect to those who deserve and it dont talk **** because something wasnt done fast enough.

i agree with erik . its really no ones business why or why not somone can or cant go to a meet or bring their car. if they come, thats a bonus, but if they dont, they shouldnt be harrased for it.

This thread was about an important attraction to the first ever national 6gc meet. Two of the fastest 6gc's in the country are going to go head to head and another 3 or 4 will be in attendance. The meet will include some of the most awsome roads for driving in the country and many of us, who have never met before, will get to hang out and drink beer. I for one am really looking forward to it - handing Jeff his a$$ will just be a bonus!

The thread did deteriorate a little into a "You hurt my feelings" affair but we have all kissed and made up. I am glad. I think we should all be a kinder, gentler 6gc community so that everyone feels comfortable to show up.

And, Erik and Art, you guys are two of the only people on this website that have spent more time here than I have. In my opinion, if you didn't make a committment to this meet (especially since you live on the East coast) it would be a damn shame. I am not pressuring you or giving you a hard time about it. I would just like to meet you and I know alot of these other smak talkers would too.

Its funny how you kind of get an idea of a person's personality from these forums with never meeting them. Then, when you do meet them, you get to hang out and have a good time. For those that haven't been to a sizable meet before, I highly recommend it.

jay... i would love to meet up with you and everyone else. problem is that i have some other things going on in my life and i just cant get up and drive for a few hours all by myself. im just going to have to decline so that no one starts up a flame war again. then if anything changes by the time the meet comes around, maybe i could just make a guest apperence.

no offence to jeff, but unless you have finished your upgrades and care to talk about them, then you just have a normal 3sgte swap. i mean, i understand you said yuo have some upgreades planed... but as it stands now, jay is the fastest out of all of us with the added benefit of lsd.

if we based the outcome of a race on what future plans somone has, then Dan (aka player) would be smoking all of us with the 400hp 7af T e he was planning to build....lol.

I'm talking about May. When we are in Tennessee, Jay will surprisingly lose.
My swap is not "normal", Its an RC. Its come with a few more upgrades than a regular st185.

Then on top of that is the things that I did and will do come May.

All I wanted to know was how to properly support my car in the air. Now big bad Greening wants to knock me off my high horse. So I'm going to put him in his place in May.

you know, the RC version of the st185 is really not much different from a normal st185. you get a water to air ic (a big bonus) , a slightly larger afm (that dosnt really matter, because the afm has been proven not to be a restriction) and a higher fuel cut because of the upgraded IC (not that it makes anything go faster, and is easy to disable on a normal 3s). other then that, its the same motor, making the same power.

the real goodies come on the 3rd gen st205 wrc. you get stuff like antilag, intercooler sprayer and water injection ports. the st185rc dosnt come with any of those tho.

im not trying to say anything bad about you or your car, because i know we all take pride in the hard work we put into our cars. its just that i always here you talk about your motor as if its 10 times better then any other swap, when its basically the same thing.
