just dropping here to say congrads. I love what you did with your car. biggrin.gif
"Many props for you" for the hard work you put into it. I can tell it paid off.

I also want to add. I'm digging the skeletons hahaha.
The true flame paint is sweet and I'm really diggin that blitz bumper. On most 6GCs the blitz bumper doesn't look good, but I absolutly love it on your car, the grill makes it look so badass. Definatly an A+ show car in my book.

How do some of the ratings go at shows? What kind of categories do they score you in?

QUOTE (cjh4l22 @ May 15, 2009 - 4:02 AM)hey, nice mod does it come in hetero?Need parts?I'm parting out a '94 ST

Yes I have sponsors.....I am sponsored by Hanover Toyota, Wicked Customs, Quarter Mile Customs, Meguiar's, Dunlop Tires (Dropping this week), Megatronics, Reaction Motorsports, and possibly some others that I am waiting to hear back from for this season.

Cutrara,
Here are the catagories and subjects that you are scored apon at shows. I score highest in Paint, ICE, Wheels, Overall Exterior Mods, Interior, and Overall Presantation biggrin.gif . I'm lacking in the engine and the undercarrage frown.gif . What can I say she's still a daily driver tongue.gif . For the engine I am currently doing a turbo set up.

~oh and one more question to Nat why did you lock the topic on scionlife.com?

fantom force.... oh no laugh.gif

BANNED!
dang natalie frown.gif

I'm not one to judge a persons car by its madia coverage, nore do i think more of a car because its in magazine. your car is very hot, shows you've put tons of time and money into it to make it what you want, I respect that, great work, I'm sure it will get plenty of coverage for it because it stands out nicely, but there are more important things.

I'm sorry I have to re-open this thread, what she did to you was wrong. Thats the lowest of lows and very childish. To start a thread on a different forum bashing your car, very rude Its a shame this had to happen to one of our members. If she decides to post here ever again, I'm going to set her posts on a mod preview only basis.

Quite Frankley, I'm tired of her crap. She doesnt not contribute anything good to this site, she is more of a cancer that lurks in off topic. So Now we'll give her the hawk eye.

Sorry this has happend to you
Good luck in the shows

I will return one day.

biggrin.gif ....do i have to say much more? Yeah The NCCA raised their standards this season so I'm competing with molded kits and labo doors. So yeah, I'm kinda going to be susiding the doors and side latching the hood and probabily something to the hatch but don't know yet. Plus like I said before, I'm in the process of putting on air struts. I wanna shave the door handles and such but I think that may have to wait until the end of this season cause that means I'll have to repaint the full car once again. I also have a new grill, taillights, sidemarkers, eat coming in.
omg @ suicide doors. i've always wanted to see them on our cars. i think it would look flippin fabulous on yours.
i'm so excited about what this car is going to look like after it's 100% done. it's going to be amazing!

YoungSurvival.Org-Celica traded for.. 350z.. traded for Mazda5.. soccer mom!

by the way these where on carandmodel.com just figured i'd let ya know
i deff think the car needs to be dropped alil..like steve mentioned early prob airbags since you are show the car alot...i like the trd spoiler that you have planed andthe custom hood. however imo i dont fancy the wheels to much, i think they take away from the car..maybe something bigger with a lower offset so they sit nice and flush with the car. i'd also like to so something under the hood, but all in all great work....personally the car isn't in my taste but you get my vote for the most dedicated 6gcer cause i think you've done the most work in the least amount of time then anyone else here

p.s you aren't apart of fanton force are you?

they are kinda long, but you could always add some length to your hinges that go into the door. i bet celica doors are light anyway. no window frame helps too. i actually had this planned for long term. another point. if it would be too long to open suicide then how could it open normal?? hmmm

Coming in 2010full paintjob - new wheels - modified body - new interior - engine build- marriage
suicide doors would be hot thumbsup.gif

my st205 swapandour Beams swap
celica doors are heavy wink.gif and its just like a normal door hinge for the suicide since just opens like stock (sorta)

Suicide doors would be sick, same with the air ride.

i honestly wanna see this car in person....i wanna get some real shots of this thing...and congrats on the magazines i wish i could find someone selling them close to me (maybe ill look harder lol) but thanks to Christina for putting the 6 gen on the map for a bad car...and helping out the community (me for instance (thanks again lol)) but i hope to see you in some more magazines and hopefully in person!

oh and suicide doors would be great but......suicide lambos would be even better!

Dustin
Props, the paint work is amazing. Flame on!!!

JDM guy made me do it.
cars lookin good christina. much respect for the work.

as for the rest of you..i dont get what the big deal is with this whole bashing Nat. She voiced her opinion about the car. Whats the big deal?? To be completely honest christina..ur old look i thought was ugly as hell, the new paint job IMO makes ur car 1000X hotter and suits it alot more than the black n red. Some people just dont like the look period, and theres nothing wrong with that. You guys bash her and get all mad at her n tell the admins 2 ban her cuz she said somethin that not all of you guys agree on. Nat does work for an company who does organize car shows and races n stuff like that and has some insight on what people are looking for in magazines. And to be frankly honest, shez true. Most magazines will not feature a car strickly on the paint. Nor will they feature a car for just the drive train..or just the interior. My friend built a 400WHP Turbo Silvertop AE86 that was a full all out drift car. The car is stupidly powerful, very clean, exterior is painted in audi gray and fully covered in sponsor vynal's. He called up PAS(Performance Auto and Sound) Magazine to see if they would be interested in the car, he sent them pictures of the drive train, exterior, undercarage etc....every thing but the interior and they said sure. They came to take more pictures and do an interview with him for the magazine, but when they took a look at his stock interior besides a few gauges and a sparco Torino seat, they said no thanks. They told him that he would have to clean up the engine bay, detail it abit more and spice up the inteior and they would feature it. The month they were suppost to feature his car on the cover the ended up featureing a car he helped build (White Raceworld.ca RSX Type-S Turbo). The only magazines i read that are willing to have a cover worthy car that isnt fully decked out inside and out is Turbo and sometimes Super Street. Im defending Nat because i dont feel shez done any thing wrong. She voiced how she felt, she gave some imput from some one in the industry and she gets shunned for it.
wow that is some crazy stuff
