Well that's cool and fully understandable but at the same time, there are two sides to everything and if my be different where she is compared to the circuit i run. alot of the featured cars that are in the mags, as i said before are cars i compete with. And it's not only the paint of my car they look at. Because I have something in every category my car is fully rounded. I made sure of this. But at the same time when I tryed to defend myself on this matter, Nat got PMS about it and things went down hill. I fully understand where you are coming from but before someone should bash do some reaserching. What that person is saying might just be true.

cars lookin good christina. much respect for the work.
as for the rest of you..i dont get what the big deal is with this whole bashing Nat. She voiced her opinion about the car. Whats the big deal?? To be completely honest christina..ur old look i thought was ugly as hell, the new paint job IMO makes ur car 1000X hotter and suits it alot more than the black n red. Some people just dont like the look period, and theres nothing wrong with that. You guys bash her and get all mad at her n tell the admins 2 ban her cuz she said somethin that not all of you guys agree on. Nat does work for an company who does organize car shows and races n stuff like that and has some insight on what people are looking for in magazines. And to be frankly honest, shez true. Most magazines will not feature a car strickly on the paint. Nor will they feature a car for just the drive train..or just the interior. My friend built a 400WHP Turbo Silvertop AE86 that was a full all out drift car. The car is stupidly powerful, very clean, exterior is painted in audi gray and fully covered in sponsor vynal's. He called up PAS(Performance Auto and Sound) Magazine to see if they would be interested in the car, he sent them pictures of the drive train, exterior, undercarage etc....every thing but the interior and they said sure. They came to take more pictures and do an interview with him for the magazine, but when they took a look at his stock interior besides a few gauges and a sparco Torino seat, they said no thanks. They told him that he would have to clean up the engine bay, detail it abit more and spice up the inteior and they would feature it. The month they were suppost to feature his car on the cover the ended up featureing a car he helped build (White Raceworld.ca RSX Type-S Turbo). The only magazines i read that are willing to have a cover worthy car that isnt fully decked out inside and out is Turbo and sometimes Super Street. Im defending Nat because i dont feel shez done any thing wrong. She voiced how she felt, she gave some imput from some one in the industry and she gets shunned for it.

You've missed the point completely.
Natalie is being shunned for going onto diferent site(s) (unknown if its just one or many) and purposely starting to bash her car. Its also unkown if this is the first time or if this has been an on-going thing where posting someones car and saying stuff about it there because she cant here. She's also guilty of passing off someone elses' words as her own instead of giving due credit. It wasnt even anything real intelligent either but its just not something you do. And if 95% of the people of a website have a problem with someone else, dont you think maybe theres just cause for that attitude?
And your second post there is a load of garbage its hilarious.

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
Props on the paint. I know it takes mad patience and sanding for it to look like that. I think it looks pretty crazy in a good way. IMO lose the scoop and spoiler, def. gives it a ricey look. The rest of the car looks pretty mean/evil to me, and they don't compliment it. Good luck with all the shows.
hey super sprynt..eat my a$$..u dont belive me about the car??

Hey sport, who the hell is talking about any car? Learn to r-r-read.
And I'll take a rain check on tossing salad, I'm not into that, but thanks for showing everyone the level of intelligence & maturity.

Actually i do, i always got a good laugh on some of his replys.
I can't believe I read this whole thread... oh btw nice car, awesome paint job, can't wait to see it with the trd spoiler and molded hood as the current setup detracts from the rest of the car and I think it would look betterif the tail light covers were a little darker red... overall good job!
hey guys,
i'm rather new to this site so some of you may know me and some might not.
first off, congrats to Christina for actually showing her celica in different events/shows. also, congrats for street trenz coverage.
why are so many people here ranking on her? think about it how many of you guys actually have a car that can compete in these shows, especailly NCCA events??
i been in the show scene for a good amount of time and it is just recently (approx. 2 years) that i brought my celica into the scene. to be honest how many 6th Gens are actually in the show scene?? maybe 10 at most and out of those 10 how many actually looks good and how many should stay in the parking lot??? and how many of those cars look the same show after show?????
so in my opinion, instead of beating on someone that is out there representing our cars try to respect them. give them props for doing it.
everyone is entitled to their own opinions, so for those that are in shows keep in mind that when you are showing your car it will recieve both positive and negative feedback.
now, i also met alot of celica owners at these shows and some recommended this site to me. if you look at all of us we build our cars for different reasons and there are no right or wrong why of doing it. for example i met a guy in boston with a 3sgte swap and his car looks great but totally different from mine. that doesnt make either of us better. we are in the same show because we share a same interest.
Christina. i believe i met you at the ocean city show once before i was in the indoor event working with glosser. your car came a long way. keep up the great work.
As for mag. coverage, i believe a magazine coverage is something of a spread with articale rather than a snapshot. a snapshot is great too because you are being recognized.
so for everyone trying to get in he show scene or is already in it. keep up the great work.

Christina. i believe i met you at the ocean city show once before i was in the indoor event working with glosser. your car came a long way. keep up the great work.
As for mag. coverage, i believe a magazine coverage is something of a spread with articale rather than a snapshot. a snapshot is great too because you are being recognized.
so for everyone trying to get in he show scene or is already in it. keep up the great work.
You had the silver celica with the lambo doors right? I loved your celica it was so clean and clean cut....beautiful car.
yup and thanks,

hey guys,
i'm rather new to this site so some of you may know me and some might not.
first off, congrats to Christina for actually showing her celica in different events/shows. also, congrats for street trenz coverage.
why are so many people here ranking on her? think about it how many of you guys actually have a car that can compete in these shows, especailly NCCA events??
i been in the show scene for a good amount of time and it is just recently (approx.

Christina, you really do some great work......even if some people on here can't at least appreciate what you do. Definately shows that you're passionate about showing the Celica and I totally admire your work and effort.
