Well, after riding around with an unpainted car (all in primer) and just ordering a set of underbody blue neons and 20 LEDS it finally has set in, my car is slow, unpainted with neons, im a ricer... I cant help it tho, I like neons ^_^

lol thats sounds very similar to me! but oh well, i really dont care cause i love my car and hopefully when it gets done everyone will like it also.

what color are you doing yours?

Welcome to the fold biggrin.gif. It's O.K. I have a total of 6 tubes + shift knob in my car. I really need a short shifter now, just to get it back down to normal height though.

what color are you doing yours?


im doing all my lights in blue, blue is my favorite color :-p And I already have a blue wheel well kit and a blue radio, so I guess im going to ATTEMPT to change my climate control lights.

Mine are blue as well. Love them. Watch out for cops though. They frown on that color pretty heavily frown.gif.

gotta love the neons tho, but im glad i have the 7-color led (ricer version LOL) where all the colors change as i want them too ha ha

True ricers dont intend to make their cars look better though. I am sure you have plans for paint in the near future....

ya, i just need a paint job and it will look dead sexy. Got the c-one knock off front, invader sides, rear extensions in the back, doggy lifter blocks for the spoiler, CF hood (zyclone) and gas tank lid. It just needs a paint job that I keep putting off (dont wanna spend $1200 :-()

i would, except I dont have money for a swap or the knowledge. And im not going risk losing my daily driver when I live 20 miles away from my work and have no other car. And we all know the only "perforance" parts we can do is a swap or turbo it, which cost a nice chunk of money.

you can swap a 3sge for a lot less than a quality body kit and paint job

well, over the course of 2 years it all cost about $2000. I make a decent paycheck and could probably afford the swap, but I just dont like my car enough to try and make it fast.

well at least you didnt drive around with a body kit that was primored dark grey and the rest of the car was white wink.gif

hahah i drove around like that for a month before we just white primored the kit white to match the rest of my car... hahahah biggrin.gif

When I bought my kit I made sure I had enough money for paint and everything. I couldnt let my car look stupid by riding around with an unpainted kit. She didnt deserve it.

I think rice is a phase that one has to go through. With my GT I have gone ricey and only thing for performance was K&N replacement filter. Somehow, not long ago, anyway good and relatively powerful 3SGE became not enough and I made a decision to move to 3SGTE. Already I have plans for body-kit, rims, paint, interior, audio, but main stream for GT4 will definitely be "reasonable" power-up.

rice is a phase nobody ever has to go through.

i'm convinced that people ride around with big wings, unpainted body kits, or horrible paint jobs / whatever because *nobody* has the balls to tell them it looks bad.

i've even seen some 6th gens on this site that I would probably take a crowbar to in real life, just to save the car the humiliation of having to drive around like that.

less is more, and some people forget that. there isnt any point in dumping $5000 in to a paint job / body kit if your car still has a 5s/7a in it. i'd rather have my car look slow and be slow, than look fast and be slow.
