I understand what you are saying Glitch, and i'm not really disagreeing with what you are saying, im just kinda clarifing what I said. The love that I have for him still isnt missing what we had, its loving the fact that he was honest, he diddent try and pretend things were ok when things werent working for him, and that he put into consideration as to what doing what he thought I wanted would in turn be more hurtful if he ignored what he felt. He let me know as soon as the doubts hit his mind, what they were, and we tried to work through them... when that diddent work, we went our seperate ways. however, the level of respect and caring about the other person's well being never left the equation, and thats why I say that the love we shared was "true"... It's one of those situations where when you put the other person's happiness in place of yours after the fact, you realize that their happiness is better fufilled in a different place kinda thing, not wanting "what I used to have"...

Nicely put, and I to was just carrying on the covno. In my area if you tell someone your opinion, your "insulting" or "attacking" them and you loose the convo. I like this forum more and more haha.

Well, I did it! I propsed to Kate and she is now my fiance. She wanted to go to the Museum of Natural History and afterwards we went for a walk in Central Park.

I was so nervous, I felt like I was 16 on my 1st date (24 now). I did the whole deal, got down on one knee and asked her. What a relief, now it's on her finger and she's so happy. Diamonds are definitely a much better investment than cars.

well I ran CC (cross country) is high school and every saturday evening after one of our meets (earlier in the day) we would have a party for our team (an all guys team -b/c of an all guys private school-) and so we'd invite all the local girls teams (....private girls schools next door and near by) to join us of course at the parties. well its been just over a year ago that i and my g/f first talked one-one and then hung out for awhile. it was pure luck and i will never forget that night, nor the people that were there. The next day we talked and the following weekend we went out on our first date and its pretty much history from there to now. but anywho, yea thats kinda how it went down....

Co-worker from when I worked at Red Lobster. Nov 7 will be 1 year.

Met my wife on Miami (OH)Team charter plane on the way to Orlando to play UCF. It was her first time as a flight attendant and the first time I've ever had an attractive one (I've flown like 30 times previously). She gave me her number on the trip back and she was on the same plane on the way to the GMAC bowl game where we had our first date. Been together ever since. Was 3 years ago.
