Hey, I'll try to make it. Just some stuff to think about, At the BBQ location are there gonna be grills there or does someone have to bring one? Chairs/blankets, something to chill on, sounds really obvious but it's stuff you really dont want to forget.

Best bonfire spot is where Magnolia hits PCH. So everyone just go to Magnolia and PCH.

I don't think we should grill stuff... from my experience bonfire + food = "sand"wich... haha not very apetizing. Drinks and maybe chips or something is good enough.

And to Mr. Host: I want Diet Pepsi. =)

Dude, your not bringing women anymore? haha jk. But i think we still need chairs if you want to bring go ahead and bring those. Problem is we just need to find out how many people are coming to this that aren't on the list above (ie friends, girlfriends, meet crashers, etc etc). So maybe we should have a head count. Do i need to go send out official invites that read,



"I _____ will/will not (circle one) be attending with __ guest(s). And i would like the chicken/beef (circle one)" haha



Well let's see. We will have a bonefire with drinks, chips.....pizza? How is pizza for everyone, pizza would mean no one would have to cook, or bring a large grill along with them. Or how about we go to SuperAutobacs, then go eat, then go to the Beach (with drinks and chips). Lets take a vote.

pizza would be cool, and a lot simpler. maybe we can just grab a bunch of those $5 pizzas most places r selling now? i am bringing one person with me. maybe 1 pizza for every 2-4 people? ok first things first let try 2 get a head count as soon as we can and the more i think about it, the more pizza sounds better. any objections to pizza? and Derrick put me down for a diet pepsi too, gotta watch my girlish figure!

Ok cool, i'll go pick up 2 cans of diet pepsi now instead of 1 can. Haha i was going to buy a case anyways, so it's cool. Thanks for the input though, it really helps in trying to make this meet the best it can be .

Yeah Pizza ends up being a lot cheaper and easier. If really want to cook stuff, you can stick your pizza in the bonfire.

king_wsk, I put you on the *Maybe* list, you can bring sweets if you like, i'm sure a few members would appreciate that . But as long as you show up that's the most important part haha.

I'll look into the seating and see what i can come up with. I'll hit up wal mart and see if i can buy some cheap seats or something. head check please.

MaskedMan: most people that are in SoCal don't really go on 6gc and check the Meet/Event Discussion section. So do a search for "ca", "socal", "oc"... in the location field of the Advanced Members' Rides Search. Send them an official invite and link them to the page and ask them if they're interested to add themselves to the list.

This is why my meets had really good turn out because I did this for every meet I organized. It's a pita but it's worth it.

Also, did you contact Super Autobacs and tell them we're having a meet there? They have a Meet coordinator now and they usually give some kind of coupon or something if you have a meet there and a good amount of people show up. If you need the contact info to that person, let me know. I usually call her for all the meets I put together now for the Lexus guys.

I went ahead and sent out a few invites a few days ago, but i didn't get to all the Socal members. The few i sent invites to but havent heard back from yet off the top of my head are blahbar, masonF, Markie, ChaCha, Stolen, forkee, and aznxrussel.

I spoke with Marijo Capela the Marketing Manager of Autobac's via email and we are working out a time to talk on the phone to dicuss the meet in detail.

i have a question .. beside the fact that i am not sure if i can come or not , my car isnt exactly in it's best shape , the paint is a lil bad and stuff and it doesnt look all that great ... is this going to be a problem ?

as long as it gets you there, i'm sure that's fine with everyone. heck, you don't even need to drive a 6gc to the meet. no one would care, but your car might not be included in some of the group pics.

Dude, you have a convertible, it's totally welcome haha. Ok, well im biased. But no matter what condition your celica is in, it's welcome. As long as the condition of the vehicle doesn't pose any threat to you or the other members of the meet it should be fine. Even if the paint doesn't look at good, don't worry about it, your still a 6GC. You will be in pics too! Bad paint? No problem, we will photoshop you new paint!

EDIT: Oh yeah, update. I spoke to Marijo of Autobac's and everything is good to go. . C'mon, let's get some more cars going to this!

Alright, so our Maybe list is almost as big as our Attending list haha. But anyways, since we are going to have Pizza instead of BBQ, that means that AIRFRON and PROWZEE no longer need to bring stuff to be grilled.
