FS: My Swapped, Tucked 20V '94 Celica - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #49649 62 posts Started by Coomer
After nearly six years of owning it, I'm selling my Celica. It's a '94 Celica ST with 145,000 miles on the car, and about 75,000 on the drivetrain. It's a great looking car that's a blast to drive and has no problems. I'm selling because I'm tired of having the same car for so many years and I'm going to buy something different now that I'm done with the car.

Engine
AE101 20 Valve 4A-GE (Factory ITBs, 160hp)
AE111 ECU (More aggresive tune than AE101, and allows for open ITBs)
Exedy Clutch
EMPI Velocity Stacks
2.5" Exhaust

The car runs perfectly and doesn't burn any oil or grind any gears. I just recently partially shaved and tucked the engine bay myself (and replaced the clutch and many tune-up items while I was at it). It currently does not have power steering, but I originally had power steering after the swap and still have all of the parts to put it back on. It also has no A/C.

Suspension
Eibach Sportline Springs
KYB AGX Shocks/Struts
Suspension Techniques Rear Sway Bar
ST185 Celica All-Trac Front Disc Brakes (10.9", Brembo Rotors)
ST185 Celica All-Trac Rear Disc Brakes (10.5", Brembo Rotors)
17x7" Exel Wheels
215/45/17 Kumho Ecsta Supra Tires (90% tread on back, about 75% up front)

The car handles and brakes pretty well. Brakes are practically new, as are the struts.

Exterior
JDM Dealer Option Front Extensions
Replica JDM Dealer Option Sideskirts
Replica JDM Dealer Option Rear Extensions
Replica TRD Wing

I painted the entire car myself a year ago, and the paint is in excellent shape. The front bumper has a few rock chips, but that's it. No dings, dents, or scratches.

Interior
Alarm/Remote Start/Keyless Entry
TRD Short Shifter
Clarion CD/MP3 Player
Cadence 6.5" Component Speakers running off Profile Amp
Xtant A1040A 10" Sub running off JBL Amp
Sound Deadened Trunk/Backseat Area/Door Panels

The interior is in great shape. The car has a full black and gray interior with power windows, locks, and mirrors. It also has a very nice alarm system that I installed, complete with battery backup.

The only thing wrong with the car is it has a salvage title. But only because it was vandalized very badly while parked outside my house. The vandals tried to pry open the trunk, keyed nearly every body panel, broke a window, cut nearly every part of my interior (seats, carpet, door panels, dash) to shreds, and broke my entire dash and center console. I had full coverage so insurance came and looked at it and totalled it out. I bought the car back and have since replaced the entire interior, trunk lid, and repainted the entire car.

The car has been through the Washington State Patrol inspection and passed, and I have the title, along with paperwork and photos to prove what caused the salvage title. The car has never been wrecked, nor stolen.

Because of this, I'm selling the car for $4,000. It's your chance to have a nice, wire-tucked, quick car. Some people have told me it's almost show ready...that's not my sort of thing, but it is a really nice car (at least I think so). I'm in no hurry to sell, and am open to trades.

Below are a few pictures. More are available in my profile.

New Toyota project coming soon...

What kind of work would it take to get the A/C back up and running. Im interested. Got to decide if I want two cars both with salvage titles haha.
You're really doing it. I can't believe you're really doing it! frown.gif And for only $4K! How can you possibly lowball yourself?! Anyone would be proud to have that car.

I have some cousins in Yakima and i'm going to give them a call to push them into looking into picking up your car. biggrin.gif

agreed. put it in a show with a tag of 8k and let people low ball you.
4k is tooo much of a steel for:
1) a rare car that is so clean
2) one with a 20v! and ITB's
3) one with a bay that amazing!
4) the rest of the car is immaculate.
5) they would be buying an internet super stars car biggrin.gif

Yes, I definitely put that and more into it. But we all know that you never get what you put into a car back when you sell it. wink.gif

It would be a lot of work. I have the compressor, but you'd have to get hard lines made, find a condenser and the dash unit, cut a hole in the firewall to run lines through to the dash, etc. Power steering wouldn't be so bad, but A/C would be a lot of work.

As far as the price...I know it's low. I'm accounting for the salvage title and such. Hopefully someone here will buy it. smile.gif

New Toyota project coming soon...
Dan ill fight you for it. And it sucks selling a salvaga titled car. I attempted to sell the mr2 and gave up. Salvage title scares everyone away. So I just gave the mr2 to my little brother for his highschool graduation. Now I want coomers celi haha.
aite zach you are on....i vote we should joust for it!
How about a race? My bike vs yours on a road course.

haha im sorry i dont wanna crap up this thread.
how ever you guys decide.
call me crazy, but i think the best way to decide is see whos willing to pay more. biggrin.gif

Maybe a trade plus cash, depending on how much cash you'd be willing to put up.

Thats crazy cheap!

I think that we should start a fund between the EC 6GC members and buy it as a group. It will then be kept as a trailer queen and be the official 6GC.net pace car when we have meets. wink.gif

PS: dibs driver seat.
