So far though, here's the plan that I think would happen:

A) it's going down on a Saturday, I think we should meet at noon
B) We're meeting at Quaker Steak and Lube, it's a car theme place so it'll be perfect
C) we'll all eat lunch together (I am thinking we'll just eat at Quaker Steak and Lube if everyone is kool with that) and get to know each other (bring photos, laptop w/ videos, books, any cool celica stuff to share)
D) We will then proceed to cruise to Charlotte and began the city cruise to various locations to take photos. I am thinking 3 main hot spots would be perfect. Any location that can fit all the cars and have a nice scenic background for us to work with is fine.
E) after the cruise, I think it'll be around 4 or 5pm, we can proceed to go have some fun at an arcade place or that place in Charlotte that does the go-carts and stuff. I forgot what it was called, but I've been told it's a lot of fun.
F) After that, we can probably have dinner together and then hit up the bar or club if anybody is interested. But I say after dinner will be the official end of the meet.........unless we're having too much fun.

Anyways, that's the plan I had in mind, lemme know if you guys have any kool ideas, we need to brainstorm.

I'll probably be living in Chattanooga, TN at the time of this meet but still wanna come cuz it still wouldn't be too far out..... I broke down the other day and had a group of 2 6gcs(female drivers at that) and a 5gc stop by to see if i needed help..... I will see if the 6gers wanna come out, one of the cars looked pretty sweet with a custom paint job and looked almost like SSIII replica, the other was just a plain one like mine currently is

My thermostat was stuck open. Had to replace that, but realized my coolant was low..... checked it out and there was a hole in my reservoir..... wasn't too bad, she's back on the road now.

Yeah, I was shocked that there was a group of celis to stop all at once. I told em bout the site n stuff. They were pretty cool. I realized when I was having my "side of the road party" that people are great and it made me smile. It was during rush hour and I musta had a good 25 people stop(including 2 taxis and 1 cop). It was a nice little mini meet lol

Wow, that's pretty cool. I remembered when I blew my tires on the highway, I had to change my tires and everything by myself, nobody stopped or anything. It was probably because I had it under control and everybody knew that by seeing the obvious intelligence on my face .

Honestly, I think that if it hadn't been rush hour(or 2-3hrs i should say) on 40E by the airport, where traffic just barely got up to 15mph(very rarely) I woulda only got the cop and maybe one of the other people lol

well i'd love to set things up.. but i've officially given up on trying to organize celica meets.. i've tried several times and each one has failed miserably.. so hopefully someone in this area will take the lead and organize.

i need to read back in the post, quaker state n lube here in the charlotte area right, i thnk jaws and matt may know the number, i have no problem calling it. NEver have b4 do I say hey were having a small get together about 6-10 cars and want to know if it's ok to gather at your business...or something to that regards?
