FS... New Deal... you missed out on the first one! - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #51610 137 posts Started by coldbluesteel
Ok, I am getting some interest from the west coast on this deal. If I have to bring the car out when I move in a few weeks it will add about $1000 to the total. That should cover my extra storage fees, trailer cost and the extra gas to pull the Celica 3000 miles to Vegas. From there it's up to you, unless you are somewhere in between here and there on the 40.

sorry to hear about your situation. it's just too bad that the car is way out in the east. i live in utah and if there was any way you could bring the car with you to vegas i would take it off your hands but i am sure there isn't any way at all. if you don't sell by the time you come out here i may want some parts if you are willing like the TRD short throw shifter and knob. i can drive down to vegas. that shouldn't be a problem for me at all.
LMK and GL on the sale

Funny you should write this as I was typing.
Quarter to five... I'm getting sleepy. I'll check back in the morning... make that late morning.
if you bring it out with you, I *may* be able to drive to vegas to pick up the GT-four hood and bumper. depending on your price for them.

The only way I am bringing the car out west is if I have a confirmed buyer, and they will more than likely want this stuff. "IF" they don't and I don't sell locally then I will be forced to bring the parts to Vegas.

Sorry I thought I replied to you.
Go ahead and make an offer and get on the list, but I am not officially parting her out until the car is sold and the new owner takes what they want.
i have a running 95 GT in good condition with lots of new parts... would you be willing to trade for one thats running and maybe some cash?

Breaking Axles...
Ok bump again... come on people throw me a freakin bone here.

I am not trying to buy a Celica or any other car. If you want to trade even or maybe give me some cash too, I'll consider that too. I already have two nice cars, maybe I could use a beater/daily driver. The thing is I have to pay over a grand just to get the car out of storage first, so it's not worth it to me to give it away and pay you for a car you want to sell.

Now let's say you have some amazing car that I would love to have, You take my Celica, the parts you want, and we work from there. Maybe you could even convince me to part with my cherry red drop top 300zx or my 4runner limited (as seen in my build thread).

Other than that $3500 takes it all $2800 minus the wheels. The new parts alone are worth about that much. When I say new I mean never put on the car, some of it still in boxes.

I was going to do LS1 RWD conversion, but due to circumstances out of my control I am unable to finish this build since I have to move to Las Vegas by the end of the month. The car has not been cut up, so add a fender and a pass side headlight to it and put it back together. Part it out yourself, do a auto to manual conversion in your car, GT brake upgrade to your ST, swap my motor into your car. Whatever your heart desires.

Oh yeah brand new black carpet never put in the car. I have the back seats but they need to be thrown away or seriously cleaned. Never planned on putting them back in. I have brand new Corbra style racing seats, no bracket yet I was think of maybe keeping these.

Man, why the hell am I trying to sell this again?
Bump... Wow, doesn't anybody want to get in on this?
i'll buy your sideskirts........let me know

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
Ok I'm getting overwhelmed with part request. As I said I am not officially parting the car yet. The person who takes the car, gets the parts they want... what ever is left I will part out.

That being said why is no one jumping on this? This is a seriously good investment for someone.
If I lowered the price would I have better luck? I haven't had a real offer that someone sticks with.
front lip how much ship to atlanta??

Not parting the car out yet.

If you would like a part make an offer and if it's available after the car is sold then the best offer gets it.
Ok... any body want to throw out an offer for my car? I need to sell it.
hey i know that you have a thread on here with pics but i think you would get more hits if you provided a link or at least some pics on this thread. like i said if you have to bring this out west let me know. i will see if i can take you up on it.

Call me a traitor! See if I care. ;)

Ok... here's the link for those who couldn't find my other thread.
My build thread

Time is running out for the East coast people, I'm heading to Vegas next week to find a place then I'll be back around the 20th to move on the 25th. If I can get a confirmed buyer out west (on the way to Vegas on the 40, or meet me in Vegas) then for a little more I'll bring it out there if I have to. I have to cover what it cost to get it out there... trailer, extra gas, ect.

I don't want to part it out with out letting the new owner have their pick of parts, but it's getting down to crunch time. I will not however give these parts away as most are brand new. If I can't get what they are worth on the east coast then I will bring them west. If the West coast people don't pay... I may just have to get another Celica, or put mine back together. That is unless someone jumps on this great opportunity.
So this car runs and everything right? it just has the interior ripped out, or is the engine out too?

The engine and tranny are in, the interior is gutted just like the pics. The car ran fine, minus the listed issue with the tranny. I drove it everyday, and did not feel that it was anywhere near giving out.

if you bring it to vegas, I'll think about taking it off your hands for $3K w/ wheels. I'd drive out their with a friend in a truck so we can put all the parts in that and I can drive it back.

If I am going to bring it out to Vegas, I'm going to need to have to have a confirmed buyer. The way it looks right now I don't think I'm going to be able to bring it for myself, but if you really want it I'll need at least half up front ( just to cover the storage fees to get it back ) and then the rest when you come with your truck and trailer. I can send you the title after I receive the first half of payment.

I would REALLY prefer to sell this locally, because I don't really want to haul my car across the country and not be able to keep it. The way things have worked out, I don't think that there will be any way that I would be able to keep it myself.

That being said... Is there anyone locally that wants to come and pick it up this week? I had planned on leaving tomorrow, but I have to wait for my 4runner to get out of the shop first. So I'll be here until Friday, probably. If you are able to pick it up this week locally we can work out a deal.
ill give you a bad offer just to see what you say. would you sell the car for 700 or 600 dollars? just a thought prob. a stupid one but u dont seem to be getting any offers.
