Yep, that is what I said. I'm selling the Celica and everything with it. The person that buys the car has first choice at all the parts. Whatever is left over is going to be parted out.


Again... I am in Raleigh NC and am moving to Las Vegas NV on the 24th or 25th of Sept. 2007. I don't know how much clearer I can make this. Are you guys reading the posts at all?

I really wish i could take this off your hands man not only cause it been so hard for you to sell it but also cuase i want it i keep looking at this post everyday. What sucks is that im right in the middle of where you live and where your moving too lol (Dallas) if only i wasnt going to Puerto Rico to visit family in December i would take the money i payed for that and hand it too you im crying on the inside.....what sucks more is that im looking to do the 3s-gte after i come back and your parts would compleat my car ......... so sad ..... good luck

Yep that sucks.

Why would you want to throw a 3sgte in mine?
It already has a build 5s ready for turbo's
I can't post dyno #'s, but I'm pretty sure my car would walk on a stock 3sgte swapped Celica.
My Celica ( WHEN IT WAS PUT TOGETHER ) was faster than my 300zx I drive now, plus I would walk all kinds of cars when she was roaming the streets.

I've driven lots of turbo mr2's and raced them too... my Celica is right up there if not faster than that.

If you look at my build thread ( when I was keeping the car) I wasn't going to swap a 3s in, that would be a backward step. I was going LS1, maybe LS2. If your unfamiliar with these think about the Corvette and GTO.

well actuly i was thinking about doing the 3s in my celica ..... and i wasnt to sure about doing the 5s build but either one or the other would be better then my car just sitting in my drive way right now i got a bent rod..... im actuly looking for a supra ...... but so far having no luck seeing as how picky i am ..... and yeah i know the all mighty LS1! i use to drive a white WS6 TA to tell you the truth the ls1 is more my bread and butter then a celica or supra but always wanted a supra the celica was actuly just going to be my dayly driver cause i recked my acura rsx and needed an car to get back and forth.....

lol Well you could say that depends on how you look at it ..... i really baby my cars i just have some weird luck with some of them did i tell you the ws6 was stollen right out from under me lol .....long story short the cop that took my report well he was parked in my parking spot when i walked out to get in my car .... either way good luck on the sale man pm me if you want to know more about that story dont want anyone getting mad that where having our own lil convo on your For Sale post ....

well you are asking 3 grand for a car that isn't even put together and has been wrecked...its a stretch on its own.

do you have all the parts to put the car back together?
cause i didn't see the seats/sunroof/panels/dash mentioned in your 1st post.

you'd probably be able to sell it for a grand. in which case i'd want it

Wrecked... ok replace a dented fender... not wrecked.

I have all the interior minus factory front seats, I have brand new Cobra style seats, new carpet, even double of some stuff.

A grand... I'll sell you the wheels for a grand.

Really though the parts that are brand new cost twice that... if not more.

I'm desperate, not stupid.

I would love someone to be able to rebuild her and show her the love I did, or let her live on in other Celicas, but I can let the shell/ motor/ wheels/ suspension, brakes all just sit and sell the parts I have in storage for more than a grand.

don't get me wrong i'm not trying to be negative towards you.

i know how much all the new parts cost and all, but that really doesn't help overall sale price of a vehicle. (in any case)
and the fact that its a disassembled car its not going to get what an assembled car would go for, even though it would be good to see it go for that price, if you put as much together as possible it would probably help out the sale.

Cobra seats are sweet though good pick but good luck with it all, cause granted if it was put together i'd consider it

Ok, leaving today.. hopefully. I hate moving it always takes way longer than I expect.

If the car doesn't sell today, I'll be bringing all the parts minus shell to Vegas.

So if you are on the east coast and want to pick up a shell, motor, tranny, suspension, and brakes all of which have been upgraded (read the posts for details), shoot me an offer and we can work out a deal.

I'll be posting the parts for sale in a couple weeks, once I get settled.
