The how to is great , but instead of cutting i should buy the brackets , also do i need ALL the parts on the diagram ?? .. could you help me put a list together , just part numbers would be fine ?

Also , do you know the part number for the hood latch ? can hood pins do the job ?

Frame Bracket RH 57201-20060
Frame Bracket LH 57202-20070

these numbers arent going through

ST205 Lock Assy, Hood (LHD)
53510-20510

ST205 Cable Assy, Hood Lock Control (LHD)
53630-20530

these part numbers will not work on ToyotaWorld's online part number search, you have to call them and ask.

Yes, but only if you have a turbo on your engine.

just kidding laugh.gif

I'm sure it is possible. How would it look though? The curves on the coupe already look as if they do not belong. Maybe I am just too used to seeing hatchbacks... who knows.

im pretty sure coupes/verts have the same "curves" as the beloved hatchbacks....our rear end is a tad longer..thats about it really...to my knowledge anyway..

Yes , this is my favorite car , i am actually planing to build mine like it , i know it would be better to come up with my own style , but i just think that this is the best it can get
oh oh, GTFOUR front end on convertibles is so sexy wink.gif.

yeah his celica is beautiful with the gt-four front end. i agree.
my car needs a spoiler as well ... i dont want something that is too big , i want one that is not too big
eg: the spoiler on the jgreening car , where can i find one like it ..... plz suggest something if u have something on mind ..... my car will have alot of silver on it , i will paint the Gt-four grill and hood parts silver and probably will go buy some silver decals .... so i was first thinking of a very low curved aluminum wing but i am not sure ...
didn't jgreening sell his car? Anyways, the spoiler on it was the factory 2 post spoiler for the coupe/convertibles. That's really the only low spoiler other than the 3 post spoiler factory spoiler haha. I heard the 2000+ eclipes spoiler fits, and i think one of the mustang spoilers fit as well.
you live in southern California too , do you know anyplace where i can actually test fit spoilers ? and yes J sold his car but its still his , since his the one who build it

why?
wings west offers the mid spoiler for our vert/coupes, i did a local pickup in their warehouse in oc couple yrs back
i got an address for a wings west dealer off their website , i will go there sometimes soon
NEW QUESTION : What if i order a st205 front clip , what are the chances that i would come with the body panels ? like hood and bumper and all the other parts ??? can i order it this way ??
^ most clips won't have them.. and a lot of the times, if they ARE included, they'll arrive dented/damaged/wrecked due to shipping.. it really depends on how the seller ships them or if they come with a lot of shrink-wrap.

NEW QUESTION : i don't want to post another thread so here is my question : how much modification is needed to make a rear lip made for a hatchback fit a coupe ?? how hard is it ? what kind of materials needed ...
( i am a total fiberglass noob but i am goo with my hands and i am a quick learner)

It is a pain. You'll need to extend the lip about...4 inches on both sides. To do this you will need a cutting tool ofcourse. Then you will need to see how much you need to add exactly. Materials you'll need to extend this are basically, fiberglass cloth, resin, hardener, brushes, mixing container (styrofoam and plastic cups will melt), sand paper (lots of different grits), sanding block, primer at minimum, then paint if your going to do it yourself, and a drill and drill bits to drill new mounting holes. This is only what is required to EXTEND the lip to reach the wheel wells of the coupe/convertible. You will still need to find a way for it to mount flush, as most body kits/lips are not direct bolt on and still require some modification.

that sounds like too much work ... i should look for rear lips made for The Curren ..... i hope i find one that looks like the one i want
AM i going to need new fenders for the GT4 front end ?? if yes , then what are the part # for these ?
^ no. almost everyone that converted to the gt4 front end still use their stock fenders..

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, I've been considering to put a gt4 front end on my car. I own a 94 GT-S, and i called Astig Racing and They're charging me 640 for the hood and bumper...the shipping is still yet undetermined..the dude said they can only ship to vancouver, well i'm in Ontario, he said that they can do UPS shipping...hood will cost about 400 for shipping only as for the bumper...i'll just assume 700 for shipping only? Anyway, I've not yet contacted ToyotaWorld yet, when i call, it seems to not be able to go through. the telltale woman goes on and says the number cant be reached in my location -__-. Anyway my question was, since i've acknowledged that i can use my stock fenders for the bumper, will i need the st205 head liights, or can i use my factory ones already on the car. Also, to install, its completely just a remove and install job right? no modification needed?
Stock headlights are fine there are a few mods needed to front
you will need to use a gt4 reinforcment bar and frame rail brackets
or cut down your stock one which I don't recomend because it offers no support
to the center section of the bumper cover. The hood safety catch will
need to be extended about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches also or use a lhd gt4 latch.
search around a bit and you will find there are several topics on the conversion. smile.gif
The price you stated is quite low most cost around 1400. not including latch and rebar.
