Thanks. I painted all of that in the engine bay also.
Couldn't take out my header heatshield so I just masked everything off and sprayed away.

What about using RTV silicone as the adhesive? I think it'd work with the heat. Just use beads at key points to hold it down without it squishing out on the valve cover.

Double sided tape....it kinda melted a bit and stunk up the enginebay/car when we first had it out on the road, but its fine now.
