how did you get the "Celica" emblem to stick on the valve cover?

Double sided tape....it kinda melted a bit and stunk up the enginebay/car when we first had it out on the road, but its fine now.

yeah i was concerned about the melting that's why i asked, I looks good! I had a similar idea but idk about it yet.

What about using RTV silicone as the adhesive? I think it'd work with the heat. Just use beads at key points to hold it down without it squishing out on the valve cover.

the only downside to puttin it on the valve cover after driving for 4 hours the celica badge its self melted a tiny bit. Nothing tooo noticeable..but it was fine. Im probably gonna b taking it off and gettin sarah's brother to airbrush the word celica on it.

What about just stenciling it onto the exhuast heat sheild? like possibly the celica dragon logo thing.. i think that would look awesome

that's because it's everyone's dream to have that hotness under their hood.

I'd rather have a dirty engine bay with a good build 350bhp 3s-gte then a shiny one that hasn't got its oil changed in 30.000 miles. It's all a matter of perspective.

Anyways, I hope to receive my Aussie downpipe next week, so major overhaul of the engine bay will be done, with pics of course

some progress made today. installed the throttle body, injectors, valve cover, starter, cleaned up some of the wiring, and almost finished fixing the radiator fan which was broken. sorry for the crappy pic though
