Texas Meet @ Bastrop State Park. - Rsrv Deadline New Years! - 6G Celicas Forums

The meet should be held in central texas. More people from different areas (north, south etc) will be inclined to come.

A weekend camp out/barbeque would be awesome! Feb 08 sounds perfect, so it's not too cold.

And a state park right in the middle would be awesome! I'm definitely down.

lets decide on a place so we can start getting solid plans..... cause if we dont the meet will fall threw like last time.

Just figure out what park or campground is between San Antonio and DFW and we'll vote on what's best.

That sounds like a pretty good location. Anyone who does not know where or what it is- Google it. Maps/pics etc.

It's a good place, but not exactly in the middle. It's about 100ish miles closer for the folks in San Antonio. Something more halfway would be better.

Keep in mind i think we have more SA/Austin/Houston members than DFW members - so bastrop may be the best location across the board.

I think the Supra might come out for this one. The Celica will more than likely be down for some engine work around that time.

i put my vote on Bastrop

although the state park is very dusty (dirty cars ftw!!) its a beautiful place with lots of pine tree's!
thats something you dont see in central texas

Bastrop sounds good to me.

also if anyone needs a map just check the first page of this post, I put up a link showing all the State parks in central texas.

Bastrop is fine then. I'm down, sounds like fun. How about the weekend of February 15th? It would be the 15th, 16th, and 17th.

Also, someone make a route that we could cruise through, like if there is any mountainous roads around the area, we could take a cool route to take for pics and fun. Plus a BBQ and campout and such.

Should I make an official thread?

i dont care where it is. if you can get a meet 100-200, even 300 miles from houston, i will do it. Guaranteed there are at LEAST 5-6 cars.
