I just hate the whole not bathing not so clean feeling 3 days
in a row. How much was it to reserve a campsite? There's a
bastrop inn 5 miles from the park for $69 a nite for a double
not bad i thought, 2 people $70 for the weekend.

It was $20 to reserve the site, and it will be an additional $17 upon arrival. or just $37 now. I think they charge a $4 entry fee at arrival no matter what you reserve, or don't reserve.
Look at the Park Fees page to explain the different camp sites/fees.I reserved in the Copperas Creek Camp area, we should try to get the same area.
Imagine the other visitors driving along and seeing 15+ Celicas in the same area
Edit: I'm almost positive they will have showers avaliable to even the regular campers, not just the ones in the cabins.

From what i can see theres like 15 campsites still available for that weekend tent only, 2 different campsites deer river has 5 and piney creek has 10. The ones with electric are for rvs and pop ups, you cant pick your spot either, when you get to the park they give you whatever spot they want. So we'd probably be all seperate no matter what, also the ones that say w/ water doesnt mean that theres water at your spot.
Thought that info might help. Still think im going with the bastrop inn, i
dont mind driving in and out of the park. Its $4 dollars a day to get in, im o.k with that

Ok, so if the weather goes downhill for that weekend, ie hot as hell, literally, and sleeping outside may not be such a great idea, there's an inn not far away. No big deal.
