you guys should put a link or map or something of the park in the first post so people don't have to dig through the thread to find where it is.

eariler the reservations the better cause they fill up quick

my parents offered to go and be the offical cooks, should we take them up on that offer?

bring em on Im pretty sure we would enjoy the food....and i'll bring some drinks we need to get a list of who's bringing what ?? oh and i saw someone saying they would bring homemade salsa...i'll have to get my dad to make up a batch and bring it

Oh, there will be barbeque. This is Texas. If there is not barbeque there will be a problem. I just don't know if we'll have enough people to do a cook-off. (you need like at least 20 people to do it right)

But there must be brisket and ribs. If its not there come Saturday, we'll get it.

Btw, if there's no stores open that sell brisket I'll bring a boomarang and find a cow pasture.

I'm not sure but I dont think alcohol is allowed inside state parks. As for my reservations, I will not be able to say for sure if I can make it until I start my new job and get assigned a shift, which will most likely be mid February. But if I am off I will be down for staying two or three days.

The more people the better, everyone needs to ad their names to the list. Also we dont need 20 people to have a bar-b-que, we have um all the time with less than that.

Couldn't hurt, it needs to be big. It's Texas. We don't do things small.

Anyway, I've got confirmation for the 2 chickas. They are coming and one will be bringing her celi. So that's 4 people with 3 celicas coming from my crew.

Is there a grocery store or anything by the campground? If so, I can go there just before we eat and get chips/drinks, etc. Do they have barbeque pits there?

Also, how much is the cabin rental?
