Being a smoker myself i normally have no sympathy for non smokers because you kicked us out of restaurants and bars.

However, when nice people ask me to not smoke around them i will make an effort to keep it away from them. the real cure for this issue is to get your parents to stop smoking inside. even being a smoker i can say that's nasty. i think you should sit them down and talk with them about it. Tell them that your work is bothering you about, that your car stinks because of it. and point out that everything in the house is getting this yellow sticky gunk on it that ruins electronics, furniture, and destroys the paint in your house.

its not telling them what to do if you are just talking about it, and if you have all your facts together then they wont argue with the damage that's being done to the house. atleast maybe it will help your cause to get them to not do it as much.

this brings me back to my high school days. this girl brittany ALWAYS smelled like cigarrette smoke. so one day people stopped calling her "brit" and started calling her "the walking cigarrette" behind her back. it was pretty funny back in the day... and gross. purify the air in your car and live in it.

Late reply, but try going to your local autozone or other parts store and check out their car air purifiers.. not sure if they work i quit smoking recently and the smell was gone in my car in a week but friends still insist on it. Try one of the purifiers though... only about $8 and plug right into your car lighter; it may work, it may not. I plan on getting one soon ill let ya know how it goes.
