just thought i'd let you all know that i am actually responsilbe for building that engine and helping the old owner get it to where it was when he sold it. i built the engine for the owner before the last (he lives in Korea) he melted a piston and then i got invloved. the car has many changes and from what i hear it is now in the hands of someone i had wanted to own this car.

Hey clint yea i know ya built ma engine i know who you are i uesd to go to TNZ for training when i worked for waikato toyota as a mechanic still a mechanic just not there work on mazdas now bit of a change. Just doing some maintance on her at the mo brakes needs some hoses as the 5th injector and catch can hose are all cracked, and the s/strut linkage is knocking then ive got a guy in aucks whose gona make up a stainless manifold for me so thats first performance wise cos the one on there appears to have a small leak. And the gt4 ones tend to warp which i think it has.

So I'm most likely going to be in Rotorua in around the 9th->12th of february if there is any form of event that can be planned around the taupo/rotorua area... Probably too short of notice for most people though heh

I am 50/50 at this stage. Depends on the dates as looking at road trip down south.

But pretty keen to get some advice and compare rides. My GT4 has been feeling sluggish lately - maybe its just in my head or maybe its terminal (sigh)

just talked to my Manager and on the 22nd of March we can all meet at the Toyota New Zealand carpark before heading over to the V 4 and Rotary meet

i have also talked to one of my contact in Auckland and he is going to spead the word up there he knows of a couple of group a and a few others

so is that the confirmed date 22nd of march?.and the location is palmy,il be coming from auckland if theres anybody from auckland thats going let me know so that maybe we can go together.i just hope to get my clutch and pressure plate replaced before then coz its starting to go now and the check engine light keeps on popping up everytime so i gota really save up now lol.
