>that would be awesome.il make a stop in hamilton then we can go together,do u know how to get 2 palmy coz il just get lost lol how long would the drive be? and what sorta time u reckon is the best time to leave? probaly early in the morning like 5 o clock so we can get there early.

To give you some idea, my mate and I drove Wellington to Hamilton for last years V8s, we left at 4:30am and arrived in the Tron just before 10am, Palmy is about an hour and a half from Wellington, but it is not the exact same road, so allow maybe 5 hours max? especially if you leave nice and early.

For the record - I won't be there, I fly back to Sydney 1/3/09. Not likely to be back until the 2nd half of the year.
hey guys if its gna b on the 22 im not going 2 b able to make it az im still overseas then, soundz like that date would b a gud date tho.
how early do you want to get to palmy
lol you guys have to get up early, I might leave at about 8am catch up with clint for a bit
I'll send out a pm to all the people in the list, here just incase someone missed the updates.

22nd of March we can all meet at the Palmerston North Toyota New Zealand carpark before heading over to the V 4 and Rotary meet

Again I have to ask....

Is it ok for a curren to tag along on this outing?

Aucklanders should meet some where just south of Auckland (Rainbows end?) at 4:45am to leave @ 5am sharp and go down in convoy.

Suggestions/Comments?

i thort it was on a saturday, just double checked my calender and its on a sunday.not really a good day for aucklanders to leave as i have work at 7:30am the next morning, unless i just come through the saturday morning and stay the night in palmy.who else is keen on that idea? instead of just driving all the way there and then driving back the same day.
i thought it was a saturday to ive got a little girl to pick up that day and work at 730 on monday stink prolly won't be able to make it
yeah im not sure if il be coming 2 if u had to make it on the saturday i would come, but sunday is to short of time coz we coming all the way from aucks and hams which is half a day drive to palmy basically.and its difficult for us to come and go back home and be ready for work the next day.
Yeah it being on a sunday is rather annoying, not sure why 4&R have done that. But I shall still be there smile.gif
There's a few other '96-Three's popping up here and there biggrin.gif Wish I had da beams tongue.gif
