do you used the shouldered bolts on the hood, D?
if it dont fit right, and your using the right bolts, somthing is tweaked, weather its the hinges, or the rad support.

looks great man, glad you got it fixed. mine flew up on me twice. First time it just bent the hood real bad, second time it completely totaled the hood, cracked my windshield, and blasted the top of the roof so hard it dented it and shatered the sunroof. LOL that wasnt cool at all. now i have another one i put on thats mint so i need to get the right hood latch for it asap. luckily i got the second hood for a low price of $125.

Jesus dude! Makes me glad I stuck with the hood pins - almost didn't. I never had that problem with stock USDM hood latch [knock on wood]

Thanks man! Looking at it again it almost looks like one of those shots where everything but the subject is intentionally blurred. You camera geeks [read camera experts

] have a name for it but it escapes me. However, I don't have the skills to do that - probably the entire shot is just blurry

Fcuking starter AGAIN

Anybody know if, by chance and luck, a auto starter is the same as manual starter?

Damn you rock P and that's the best news I got all week!!!
I thought they might cause I checked various parts sites and they gave me no option for auto. That means I have one laying around hopefully!!!
I made a thread for this but you might leave it so anyone else who needs that info can get it. They would be more likely to read that thread when their starter goes out than to read this one. Just my .02
Thanks again bro - this is why this place is so awesome and why I always try to give back any knowledge I have

Now just a 1/4 mile hike to and from and get dirty communing [MSP] with my car - can't ask for a better boring Saturday task. Beats working around the house

Damn!!!! It's waaaay too cold for my blood ATM - 52*f [I know - but I've lived in Texas now for 20 years so my NY immunity to weather has long since worn out. I'll wait till noon. Starter is a joke anyway even with all the Turbo/IC parts in the way

Try Wisconsin out death. Cold boosting 9 months outa the year
2nd Gen 3s-gte.... It lives!97celiman"92-gt-quit making up random acronyms that dont mean anything. the only real acronym is JDM"
Not here LOL - I waited till noon to work on the car today and it was a nice 68*F
Anyway - some brainchild decided to completely dismantle the extra starter I had in my garage and if you've never tried to take one apart and put it together the motor requires some type of special tool to reassemble. But it worked out well cause I got a brand new starter since I always buy lifetime warranty parts [this would be why I pay that extra $10-25. Thankfully because I have like a whole $5 to my name ATM.
BTW - The reduction gear in my starter had completely stripped all it's teeth - that's a first for me. It would extend and the motor would spin but no rotation on the output gear.
I'll post pics later

The first time I lifted mine, I almost threw it. I was compensating for the original 204 hood (heavy as F!@#)... lol.
D - that sucks about the idiot vandal... wtf is the matter with pplz?

Can't wait to see the new hood in place... although, the nekkid look is growing on me...

Nothing new to report except she still runs well at waaaaay too much boost [Of course - what'd you expect from a 6gc-3sgte?]. Need a bigger intercooler these days. I'll drop in and say hi again soon [Perhaps this time I'll have something constructive to add].
However, I truly do miss my 6gc.net brothers and sisters [YOU know who you are - Hit me up @ Neg Ative on FB]

"Nothing new to report" <----That's not
COMPLETELY true actually! Replaced the Timing Belt, Oil Pump, Water Pump and the associated BS @ 50k miles [cause you know you should if you truly love her]
Be good! :
