whats wrong with posting other peoples work?
I see nothing wrong with it, mostly as long as you give credit to the photographer and can provide some detail behind it (my post includes camera/lense ect.)
Other wise you might miss out on some really interesting pieces.

(plus i didn't see a rule against it tongue.gif )

The idea of this thread is to post YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY. Not pictures people find on the net or that their friends took.
Please do NOT post anything that you didn't personally take! We all know that there are lots of great photographs taken by very talented people all around the net, but thats not what this thread is about.

I totally appreciate that shot! I've made it my mission this summer to get pictures of the hummingbirds that live behind my back yard, and of the yellow finch thing that has a nest back there too. I'm already planning all the flowers and feeders to bait them!

Ok, i'm not gonna delete those posts, some interesting pictures, with credit given to the photographer, but from now just post your own pictures and lets all live in harmony smile.gif

thanks smile.gif They are a little tricky to photograph. I have feeders and a bunch of trumpet vine, when it starts blooming they
hardly hit the feeders and are even more of a challenge.

JDM guy made me do it.
Looks like a good place to get my feet wet.

Shot with a Canon S3IS

Rain

JDM guy made me do it.
I got these iris bulbs free from Craigslist about 2 years ago, and have waited for them to bloom since. They finally bloomed! Too bad it's been raining so much here, they got all soggy and rotted looking shortly thereafter.

Bonus rose bush:
I took this one on Saturday.

Average-ish shot but I got a new camera so I thought I'd give HDR a shot smile.gif
