Amen to the GF sucking (no pun intended...or is it?). laugh.gif

Top Ten Reasons Why Cars are better than Girlfriends

1) You'll feel better/safer about bringing your car to a meet to let guys ogle and stare at. <Not really laugh.gif >
2) Buying accessories to make your car look nice doesn't make you less manly. <doesn't score me any points though laugh.gif >
3) Both comes with expensive monthly payments, but a car's will stop after 5-6 years. <What are you talking about!? Hahaha money never stops going into the Celica haha>
4) It's easier to get a car to lose unwanted pounds to enhance its performance. <tell that to my BMW frown.gif>
5) Turbos makes you happy and giddy when you hear it whine and spool, while GFs makes your annoyed/irritated when it whines and poo <No turbo frown.gif>
6) Cars with full tank of gas = smile.gif , GF with full tank of gas = frown.gif <Gas costs more for cars frown.gif>
7) Loud/deeper sound from car = good biggrin.gif , loud/deeper sound from GF = BF laugh.gif <hey man, now you're talking about having a BF, which is not good laugh.gif >
8) Waxing benefits both cars and GFs...but if your GF needs to be waxed, refer to #8 <I just don't understand this one.. Isn't this one #8?>
9) You can have/juggle as many cars as you want... <Same goes for girls wink.gif>
10) It's perfectly acceptable to trade in your old clunker for something smaller and sexier. <I would never trade in the Celica!>
So, you ready for that "job" I have for you? I'll tell you more about it at the meet...

not sure if i'll be able to make the meet.

Tomorrow morning i am changing out this gasket below, as well as changing out my driver's side caliper, both brakes and installing my pillowmounts (even though i'm still on the stock blown shocks laugh.gif )

If everything goes according i'll definitely be there. If not... then probably i'll be sulking away. mad.gif I hate this freaking engine!!! I cant wait until I can afford something that doesnt have problems every 10k miles.

THE STUFFS FOR SALE!

Oh man Aaron.. that gasket sucks frown.gif. But atleast the 7afe has easier access than the 3s or 5s engines imo. Goodluck with that Aaron and I hope you can make it smile.gif.

Also one more note. Please don't use the word job in quotation marks like, "job". It makes it sound like an innuendo, and this thread needs much less of those. Everytime I come back to this thread, there is something going on that's questionable to me. Let me explain...

First I see ya'll talking bout sausage fests even though obviously it's not going to be all guys at the meet. But ok, I let it slide.

I come back again, and then y'all talking about how girls are bad.

If this continues on, I am going to feel uncomforitable being at the meet with you guys laugh.gif .
im... like that... i already tolld you that yall are sexy o.o

I'm pretty sure I wasn't thanking you. I made a comment saying that you say things that have nothing to do with the topic at hand, such as calling me "sexy" randomly.

Faust, you left me an image comment which I never check. If you have a question, then PM is the best way to do it because I didn't notice you even posted a comment until now. I'm not sure what piece of the radiator support you're talking about in the comment, but to remove it, you will need to drill the plug welds out. Then you will need to weld a new one on.

Since you guys rather talk about how girls suck, and guys are sexy, I'll assume that you already know what's going on.
We can discuss the many reasons why girls are better than cars at the meet. As for the job I have for Mr Yuchen, I can assure you it's strictly business and nothing more Remember how you and I were discussing earning opportunities of our own? Well, I figured Celica meets and Celica enthusiasts are good resources that should be put to good use.

That's it? To remove that whole part from another car? I need to hit up the junkyards more often then.

Dude, all I am saying is chicks don't understand you fixing up a car and want all your time and $$$ until you are dry, and then they complain until you kick them to the curb. Then they want to cry like they did nothing wrong. Pfffttt... Then they go and get implants and become models thinking their life is going to improve, until they are 40 working at Deja Vu. How can you look like an adult movie star and expect to be a psychiatrist? LOL Maybe I should stay away from just certain types of chicks I guess. LOL

I am just saying, if I date another chick any time soon. She needs to be into cars and still somewhat girly, otherwise if she is like China....... 4getit.

Dude! Cama-- funny idea for a shirt. That would be so awesome to have those at the meets.

LOL With Yuchen saying how men are sexy, I can see him making music videos like "Gunther and the Sunshine Girls" with - "Ding dong dong" song or "Teeny Weeny String Bikini".

You want to remove that WHOLE piece? That will need to be cut off then Faustino. If you just want the top radiator support, it's all plug welds. Most of it is plug welds though.

And yeah, you're probably dating the wrong chicks. I really don't want to date chick that is too into cars to be honest with you. From experience those girls are just really good friends. When your entire life it cars, and you come home to a girl who is into cars, then she'll be all like bleh. I work with cars, I go to school with cars, I work on cars on my time off, I fix friends car when they say they just want to "hang out". When I'm with a chick, I want cars to be the last thing on my mind.
get a girl thats down to earth

Well, really I just need the top piece. So that can just come out>?

I got bad news guys. I got a notice in the mail saying I am not able to get benefits at this time, I have to call tomorrow and find out exactly what the hell they are talking about. The check should have came in today. Anyways, looks like I am missing this one. Sucks....... frown.gif

>EDIT* For the ladies, Top 5 reasons why cars are better than boyfriends

1) Gases from your car don't sneak up on you unexpectedly.
2) An automatic saves you the constantly daily hassle of playing with the stick.
3) It doesn't take much to turn on (or off) a car.
4) Getting it to do what you want it to do is as easier and stomping your foot down.
5) It's perfectly acceptable to trade in your old clunker for something bigger and stronger.

6) Allu never gets jealous
7) Allu will never get drunk and embarrass me at a show (or party, whatever)
8) one or more of my friends can come along for the ride and neither I nor Allu will get upset
9) my family and friends love him
10) Allu can't get me pregnant (and no, I don't have sex with my car)
11) he won't come over and eat all the food in my fridge
12) Allu won't ditch me (for another girl...or ever)
13) when I'm having a ****ty day, he'll listen to me bitch and rant (yes, I talk to my car sometimes)
14) Allu goes everywhere with me, no questions asked (kinda goes with #4)

I'm sure there's more, but it's late and I'm tired...humans suck.

why not the BBQ??!??! its the best part!

Pandelica 2.0 in progress.
Gee, I think I should bring something to the meet/BBQ too. Put me down for some ice cream, I'm sure it's gonna be hot as heck on Saturday...

Anyone have preferences 'cause I'll settle for ice cream sandwiches or cups by default.

2002 SC430 (WC) - 19" SSR Comp-H, Daizen swaybars, Sparco Demons, JDM Soarer conversion, carbon fiber spoiler, Injen intake, front strut bar, drilled/slotted Brembo rotors1997 Celica ST (DD) - 17" ADR, ViS Zyclone CF hood, ViS CF hatch, K&N intake, Invader body kit
LOL i was gonna surprise people with icecream, but we have a volunteer now!! laugh.gif

no prefrence, just as long as its cold tongue.gif

but icecream sangwiches are tasty as well..hmm.

Pandelica 2.0 in progress.
Davesceli added to the list. I went ahead and assumed that your name is Dave.

The other guy, delirousgtfour (sp?) said that he wanted to attend a meet, but he has not posted anything, or confirmed his attendance via PM yet.

I would also like to add that, whoever will be carvaning from Marco's house, PLEASE contact him and let him know if you will be arriving. I will be going directly to Autobacs so I will not be part of any caravan. Please arrange accordingly. Thank you.
frown.gif sorry guys I hate to be a wimp but with my medical condition I cannot be in the heat that much. It is showing 103 in Covina Saturday and I'd rather stay away from the hospital that day ( I'm kinda funny that way). It's 108 in Menifee today kindasad.gif . Again I'm real sorry, I really wanted to attend to see Derrick (and the rest of you) before he left for up north. On a cool note my daughter has decided to take a break from cheerleading and give kart racing a try (insert proud father here). So Risen Son Racing might be reborn as a kart racing team. Say a prayer for her as I hope first she enjoys it and second can rise to a competitive level. I can't say sorry enough to you guys and hope you have a great day-Ty

Oh, it's no problem at all. Congratulations though with your daughter! Hope she enjoys kart racing smile.gif . Haha and I didn't call you yet, cause I figured I'd just call you at the meet, but I wanted to let you know that according to my friend Jenn, "there are no SCCs or recalls for any 2001 Sailfin Blue Pearl LE Siennas." Is it really going to be that hot? Hmm I guess it's good that we are BBQing in the evening then laugh.gif .

EDIT: Front page has been updated to the most current attendance and supplies list. Please know where you're going and gather any contact information you might need prior to the meet. This means, if you do not have Marco or my cell phone number, then please PM one of us in case of an emergency. Thank you for your cooperation and I hope we can make this a good one smile.gif.

frown.gif I will never get a chance to meet Derrick. Ah, maybe if you guys have a meet up north (you are moving up north in Cali, right?) I can visit. For now though, I found out my stupid checks will start coming next week. I guess all things happen for a reason. So Christina is organizing meets in the future? That means she better be there, or she will be fired. LOL Well, have fun in my Holy name guys (WTF did I just say?! LOL). This blows........
