Okay, i just pulled up to my shop, and when i turned my car off & removed the keys, the A/C kept blowing, and the internal lights stayed on. It is in park, and it clicked past ACC back to norm, but the car is not fully shutting off. My fuel pump is staying in "ready-mode" because as i toggle the key thru the ignition options, it dosen't shut-off and re-prime.
We're having a LOT of rain out right now, maybe that has something to do with it. B/c of the rain, i'd rather not go and disconect the batt (there is supposed to be a huricane goin on here, right now i'm just getting heavy rain, but i need the car ready to go incase something happends.) I really dont want my batt dieing either and having to re-charge it in our little monsoon either...
Ideas, tips, solutions?

I'm guessing it could be a N/O relay stuck closed somewhere... I wouldn't even know where to look though, and i i dont wanna go playing with relays and battery's in this weather... and dont have my garage yet either
My boss is cool and said (hell we have had 2 phone calls all day

) but he'll let me run out every hour or so and restart it and run it a bit, i know that's not best for the battary, but our building is old and looses power all the time, i dont want to have to re-connect or re-charge when the weather gets that bad.

Could be the ignition switch, something could have let loose on the inside and the proper terminals aren't being let loose.

It is. I restarted the car and re-checked it a few times.
Plus, the key comes out, hell, the keys are in my pocket right now! and i havn't removed the locking pin yet (mostly because the ignition switch has a horribly long shaft that i didn't feel like puling so i could take it out)

it sounds like the ignition barrel you could pull the connector to barrell to isolate to see if that turns all off
Yeah sounds like the ignition switch is stuck on. If you climb under the dash on the driver's side, follow the ignition barrel down, (opposite where the key goes in), there's a plug with like 5-6 large wires going to it. That's the ignition switch. For a temporary fix you could just unplug that plug.

SWEET, that sounds like the kind of solution that'd be right for me for the time being! (till i get home) I'll try that the next hour when i goto re-charge the battery.
And just to make sure I've got this right: it's going to be near the gas petal, right?

Not quite, you unplug it RIGHT AT the end of the ignition barrel, no following of wires needed.

It's near the gas petal? or atleast in that general direction, yeah? Or am i thinking of the WRONG "opposite" direction?

DAMNIT!! well... I just gotta figure it out in 60 seconds or less when i goto restart my car at 4.00-4.30ish That way i can re-charge and power down.
Thanks you guys for all of your help. I hope it works.
Incase it doesn't, what else should i look for? (remember i'm new to the celica's) Is their a relay in the fuse panel that is activated via power through the ACC line? or is the ACC setting actually a switch for the power to flow through the fuse panel?

Pulling the engine main relay should do it... or the large fuses in the engine bay fusebox (all but the 100-amp).

D-man - there is ony one screw in your way man and it's right under the ignition ring. Remove it and that side of the plastic underneath will pop down. Then you will be able to get to the barrel.
Try not to go pulling those fuses and complicate your problem if possible. Do what Tweak said - it's gonna be easy to find.
I don't get off until 6:30 today

That didn't work... but i may have pulled the wrong one
While i was in there this last time however, i'm finding that my windows roll up and down w/o the key, but the radio does not come on... I was under the belief that the windows and the radio were on the same or parallel circuits...
Anyway, i'll try pulling some fuses when i get home if i cant figure anything else...
Just for sh!ts and giggles though, I know i have some kind of alarm system in my car, and it doesn't seem to spiffy, but (seeing as i have no remotes, i set it by poping the hood, and key-ing the ignition) Could a remote-start mechanism be fcuking something up? Because i was inspecting it while i was under their, and it seems to be shoved intheir rather crapily, and with wires running everwhere, and me jumping in and out of the car in the rain, i may have kicked something & grounded it out or something...

Yeah definitely, especially since pulling the ignition switch plug didn't do anything, that means it's being bypassed.

If you happen to take out the ignition from the back make sure not to play with it and let the wires touch any metal around that area of your car if your car is on because it will spark and could cause fuse to burn out..

Dude the alarm box itself should have a diagram of the wires that came with the alarm. that should tell you which color wire does what, that should atleast help you figure out what is what. No dude, remember i've only had this car a few months, and the reason i bought it was because it was totaled and the guys (no-obla english deal

) wanted $700 cash. So I gave em $500 and left, gave em $200 a week later (after keeping the car, just to stay true to my word)
This car has had more people in it than... Well i'll get in trouble if i finish that statement
But the car has been SERIOUSLY neglected, i didn't install the alarm. i have NO IDEA who did. i have no idea who did alot of the "jerry-Rigging" that i find in it. The only thing i've installed is the stereo, and subs.

it still should have the guide on the box if it doesnt then you are screwed. If you want ill PM you my guys number.
D-Man, PM me your email address and I'll send over the wiring diagram right now.
Check the wires under there, I wonder if you pulled out a wire or something that's supposed to be grounded? Like an "arm when grounded" type of wire function.
:::UPDATE:::
Okay, It was raining last night and i didn't get a chance to dig into the alarm function, (and i'm at work already

)
BUT!! i know for a fact (at least it seems and SOUNDS like) there is a relay attached to the key-ignition switch, that sends power to everything that wont turn off (inside fuse panel, right above the kick panel.)
Last night when i got home i was reading the fuse guide deciding what to take out, and (by-itself) i heard a relay; switch itself to the open position; and everything shut-off. When i went to the store (later) however, it didn't throw the relay to the open position again...

I believe that relay has gone bad.
Griff, i've PM'd you my e-mail, I could really use those. Does anyone know where the "Ignition Amplification Relay" would be? (idk what it's called for sure, but that's what it does. It's obviously a N/O {normaly open} relay that closes circuit when the key is toggled into the ACC position, and it allows the second line to flow, witch is a line from the Batt into the "main functions" fuse board.) Where is this damn relay?
Thanks for the help guys, hopefuly we can get this sorted out REALLY quick

EDIT: Alarm is in perfect working order. (although this weekend it's getting yanked and re-installed properly

There is no such relay.... most likely that's an aftermarket relay that has something to do with the alarm system... or a turbo timer.
