I want to tell everyone who participated, you guys did an awesome job. There were SO many pictures submitted and they were all really excellent! Having so many great pix for everyone to choose from makes it possible to have a great calendar, too. Thanks to everyone who voted in the polls and took part of this, too. This calendar is for YOU and it was great to see such an awesome turn out of everyone contributing!

So woot.gif to everyone who helped out!
Thanks so much for running a great set of polls [The time and effort is greatly appreciated] biggrin.gif

I did, but apparently no one thought my picture was calendar material frown.gif

Next year...For sure! biggrin.gif

Still looks like some good choices this year though.

Great job Griff! on the letter and the calander, to be honest i was surprised to see one coupe in there but theres two! The reason being the amount of hathbacks we have on 6g is crazy.
All the pics are great, im lookin forward to seeing the finished product. thumbsup.gif

Thanks! I'm actually almost done putting it together. I've got the overall calendar grids/dates done, complete with US, Canadian and UK holidays tongue.gif Just have to drop the pix in, run off hard copies for proofing/checking that all the high-res pix look spiffy, and I'm set. I expect to be finished by the end of the week and able to have the files off to the printer. I want to start shipping before Thanksgiving.

So here's the deal: I got my quote in from the printer! To have the calendars printed-to-order with an online printer, I believe they run about $22 with shipping. I can do them for $18 shipped for US buyers (all 50! Yes 808, that includes YOU!), $20 International. By having them printed locally, I have total control over the quality of the calendars. They will be full color, hole-punched, saddle-stitched 11 x 17 hanging (8.5 x 11 when they're closed) with 80# card stock covers and 80# text stock pages. Depending on how many people can place pre-orders to cover the cost of the printing, I can have them printed in 25-piece quantities. Naturally if I get more pre-orders than I need to cover the 25 calendars, I can have more than that made and shipped by Thanksgiving.

So this is it guys - those of you who know me pretty well enough to go for a pre-order, please start a list adding your name to the list ONLY if you're willing to commit payment by next Thursday, November 20th. Basically I'm gonna have to do this as a GB type of deal.

However I'm slightly confused about which printer costs $18 and which one costs $22. The difference is negligable tho and I'd prefer you do them locally so you can put your expert eye on the first peice sample before something like last year happens [No offense - I know that wasn't your fault and you did provide a fix].
So I'm willing to pay extra for gauranteed quality.
I may also order more copies but for now I am committing to one. biggrin.gif
