Yes Jason your still in charge of the room's when we find a hotel. Im almost feeling that we get a chale? or a cabin if a lot of us are gona stay and it will be a whole lot cheaper.

Whether everyone else does or not, I am going.
I don't know everyone on this board, but I'm from the sister board Celica.net. I signed up here a long while back, but haven't started checking this site till recently.
LSS, I will be at the PF meet, and will probably be one of the main Deal's Gap supporters.

The Dragons Tail and Deals Gap are the same place. It is a stretch of highway where the speed limit is 55 and most people will have a hard time keeping it anywhere close to that.
Check out this site for any additional info on it. Although it is mainly motorcycles that go there, it is plenty of fun in a car.

Looks like I may be able to afford more suspension parts before the meet(dents are second to handling/power). If I can swing it I'll have new Kumho 712s all around(2 on already), and new sway bars. With the strut bar I have now, the only other thing I'll need are springs(Ground Control)/shocks(Koni, Tein FLEX if I can find a way to make them fit). And I may have found someone to do my paint/body work for cheap, so he may get the dents out and throw some cheapo paint over them for the meet, and go with the Dupont Chromalusion black this fall.

OK first off its in East Tn. So it puts it about 30mins outside of Knoxsville. So its should take you about 6-7 hours at most to get there. Well since you are going ot be driving from OH, I take it that you are going to be staying the night. Some of us will be staying there so as soon as we all figure out what hotel that were staying at you can share a room with some of us to help cut the cost down. Money wise, your going to need some for food and when we go to the go kart track, but other than that its up to you.

Yes the meeting place has been chosen. Its at the Goveners Palce. It by the mall in Pegion Forge, its at the same light as the Walmart there.

A couple things that we need to figure out before the meet. 1. for all the people who are going ot be staying the night, do we want to try to all get in to the same hotel? If we do would some of you mind splitting a room to help cut the cost down? Also I think for the dinner we are going to have a big cook out. A couple of places that Eric and myself discussed were, either at one end or another of the dragons tail, or we could invade the smokies and hit up a cook spot there. We can get food and supplies from the Walmart right across the street from the meeting place. Let me know cause we are going to cook out it just depends on where we do it. Most of the hotels will give a group discount if we get enough people to stay there.

Anyone get a room yet? Are we going to try for the same hotel?

I have a friend that will let me use his time share(2+ bedroom, kitchen, 2 bath... almost like a house). That should cost me less than $100 for the weekend, but if people already have rooms I'd rather try to all stay at one hotel.

As for the cookout, I'm up for anything. I can eat anytime, anywhere.

I have found a couple of Chalets in Gatlinburg that are open and have a pool table, grill and has beds to sleep 8, Plus its got lots of parking there which is a plus if we all have the cook out there. The Chalet , Thats the one Im currently looking at. If we can get 8 people to stay there it is only 23 bucks each, but if we can get more than it will be even cheaper. Let me know what you all think. Also we need to set up a time where we all can get in a chat room and discuss what we are going to do. We did it last time and it was a great help.
