nice quick pickups. I would have gotten everything for my car in one day, if they weren't so hard to find.

ohh.. my car's up n running now!!.. just got it up n running on wednesday!!.. paid sum guy to to teach/help me how to install my cv axle.. got the new wheel bearing and hub back pressed in for $20.. got new transmission fluid too.. took 6hours to do everything!!.. paid $130 to the guy!!.. the best $130 ever spent on my car!!.. omg!!.. worked in his garage with his tools and all!!.. intense but totally worth it!!.. started at 9am on the dot n finish like 8pm.. coz had to run to the auto store a couple of times to get seals n watnot and the cv axle's a biatch to install!!.. to remove the axle was easy but to install it back was a biatch!!.. i mean the axle i bought didnt come with dust shields, the metal piece that holds the axle in place.. we had to actually remove those pieces from the old axle n transfer it to the new axle!!.. retainer clips holding the bearing and hub!!.. OMG!!.. its not as easy as what i read from the DIY!!.. no one mentioned that!!.. didnt managed to take any picts bcoz my hands were filled with grease!!.. took me 3days to totally cleaned up my hands!!.. but i dont care now.. coz my car's finally D-O-N-E

been happily driving around.. pure ecstasy!!..

its been raining almost every minute here.. will take picts when i have the chance.. my celica's wingless now..

took out my stock 3post.. painted the two post and just got my riser blocks recently.. waiting to the bolt them together.. weld n close the old holes and drill new ones.. took out my antenna already!!.. waiting to shave it!!.. when i'm done with that!!.. plus deciding which rims i'm gonna use!!.. i think i'll be done.. i mean the car's finally where i want it to be!!.. woot.gif woot.gif woot.gif woot.gif woot.gif woot.gif woot.gif

next project: gen7 seats!!..

what was your starting budget?

A work in (extremely slow) progress
for the seats or my entire mods on my car so far and still counting..

erm.. the seats i got really really cheap i think.. $100 n came with the rear seats too.. so yup..
as for the cosmetic indulgence.. i want it perfect!!.. as always.. but i was thinking.. if both of us are seating.. my passenger and myself.. i wont be able to see the difference.. but i mean its temporary until i've more time.. coz i couldnt wait and install the seats right after i swapped them.. n college's starting soon.. so yup..

i would like to take this opportunity to thank.. AMCMoe aka adam for his help and illustrations.. without him.. i wouldnt be seating on my "new" seats right now.. grin..

THANKS AGAIN ADAM..

MOAR!!.. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHA..

Hey no problem! smile.gif Glad I could help. Looking good so far! Any luck getting the lower cushions swapped yet? (by the way, your SS-III rear extensions...did you get those on ebay maybe a month ago? If so, you got a STEAL on them!)

this is she for now.. still waiting to get tires for my gen7 rims.. then i think i'm where i want her to be.. still deciding on the splitters tho..

came a long way.. this was her almost a year ago..

omg.. how much she's changed!!..
How did you plug up the center hole from the 3-post, and are you not installing the tC's since you mentioned 7GC wheels?

I hate how you type, but I love you. biggrin.gif AWESOME progress. I love the goodies you got.

weld n bondo.. i've a fren who's a car enthusiast too.. he has ALOT.. i mean ALOT of tools.. that why without him.. i dont think the car will be where its right now..

well.. as for the rims.. its more of a financial issue actually.. 16" tires are cheaper.. the 1s i found.. if i can find cheap 17s.. well ey.. i can have two looks..

my car's lowered.. i was planning to go wif 215/45/17 tires but i was told low profile tires r not tat comfortable.. u'll feel every bump.. was thinkin of USED tires.. i dunno.. i'm a student.. d money i make.. it seems like almost of all them are going to the car..

found alot of tire websites.. there's this particular 1.. onlinetires.com although the tires n shipping r cheap.. read alot of bad reviews bout them.. i dunno.. playing the waiting game..

well.. i might be planning to let them go (TC rims) coz its taking alot of space.. i'm living in an apartment.. we'll see when the time comes..

better stop.. too much blabbering.. but i dont know.. from day 1.. i've always wanted the GTS rims.. mayb bcoz its rare.. coz i see scion TC everywhere..

Scion tC's are everywhere, yeah. But I roll around with confidence knowing that I rock the rims better than them. biggrin.gif
